Radisson Blu Hotel, London Bond Street

Air con not working, staff not particularly helpful, breakfast was very small and certainly not value for money

The building had works being done. The entrance was a temporary entrance. I took my girlfriend there for a special night in London. We did sleep well as the AC unit was noisy throughout the nigh. We couldn't turn the AC off as the room was so hot. In the morning we were woken up to the sound of works being carried out in the corridor. I was embarrassed in front of of my new girlfriend as the hole experience was meant to be special.

Shower over a bath

Nothing.

Unfriendliness of service staff and lack of care for customer's needs, i.e. calling taxis.
I did not like the green washing attitude: suggesting to customers that not having their room made up is a greener choice. It's ridiculous for a hotel. While I do not need a fresh towel every day and would have been happy for those not to be changed, I find it unacceptable to ask customers to refrain from having the room made up at premium prices.
I also did not like the "saving" on quality coffee in the room.

The elevators are really small, and cannot accommodate more than 3 guests without luggage.

It was difficult to find. When I first arrived, I expected Radisson Blu to be the name of the hotel, but it is called Bond Street hotel and it isn't clear that it is Radisson Blu until you get closer to the entrance.

The african lady who checked me in wasn't very friendly and had a very stand offish attitude towards me, however, the other staff I encountered during my stay were incredibly friendly and nice. The woman who checked me in also didn't give me a receipt for the security deposit paid and did not tell me the check out time, I had to call at a later time to ask.

The room was very small. The building was under construction so parts of the floors were torn apart and blocked off, im assuming the smell came from these areas of the floor. Additionally, the elevators were a very tight squeeze, one other person was in the elevator with me and we were basically touching shoulders. We both had 1pc of luggage with us.

The pillows were also flat, not comfortable and I had to layer on 3 pillows which ultimately felt like stacking on 3 flat pillows.. not a lot of support and I woke up with a sore neck/back. The duvet had yellow patches / stains on them which can be witness under the duvet with the light on.

Hotel was under construction and nothing was disclosed about it.
They had no proper area to work. Only one plug near reception desk. We were 10 people looking for a place to work. Rooms have no desks.
TV channels suck.
The hotel rooms are uneven in shape as the building is kind of a triangle shape. They assigned a very small room. Had to complain and got a little larger room.

Although the reception was very accommodating and provided extra pillows as requested, they were quite thin. Offering firmer or more comfortable pillow options would be a great improvement.
