An oasis away from the busy town of Keswick
Pros:

The staff welcomed us on arrival and couldn’t do more for us, the service was outstanding, food in the bar and restaurant fantastic and hotel perfect.

Exceptional service from all the staff and the food was delicious.

A beautiful building with incredible views

Cons:

If I had to make a very small comment it would be that the downstairs public areas are newly refurbished but our bedroom felt a bit dated. Very clean and decorated well though.

The position of hotel on hill side. Beautiful countryside

Cons:

New refurbishment. Soul has been taken out of building.
Food was not very good.
Breakfast overcooked - couldn't cut bacon. Poached eggs too hard

The weather was just perfect and the hotel matched it
Pros:

This is a beautiful well run hotel in a beautiful location.
The dinner we had was food that had a lot of thought put into it and hence it was superb.
The staff could not have been more helpful and it was service with a wonderful smile

Enjoyable stay overall, nice location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Great location, very clean inside all areas of the hotel and the room was spotless too.

Cons:

The only thing that ruined it a little was the heat. We were in a top floor room and it was uncomfortably hot even with fan. A portable AC unit might be a good idea for those rooms in the hot weather.
