Business trip from 6/14-6/18/2026.
Upon Arrival found that the door latch was loose and the door could not completely shut. (Pictured) Immediately notified front desk and was told that the maintenance man was not on duty and it would be addressed on the next day.
Reminded front desk next morning about door latch problem and was assured it would be resolved.
Return to room approximately 5:15 pm to find the door latch in the same condition. Immediately informed the front desk and was told the maintenance staff had left for the day and it would be addressed the next day. Also asked why my room was not cleaned with no clear answer.
Next morning reminded front desk about the door latch. Stopped by the room during lunch and found nothing had been done to the door. As I was speaking to the front desk attendant the facility manager Rohan Mehta appears and asks me to explain the situation. He assured me that the door latch would be fixed before I returned from my business day. I explained it was a simple fix and would just require a screwdriver as 2 screws were loose on the latch. At this point the manager offered me a screwdriver to fix it for which I explained I could not because I had to return to work. Upon returning to my room I found the door still in disrepair. At this point I contacted the company I had made the reservation with to see if I could cancel my reservation but was told I could not receive a refund so I decided to stay the night.
The latch was never fixed during my stay and my room was only cleaned the day I complained. I was concerned for my safety and security and worried about leaving anything in the room of value.
I recently contacted the manager who had given me his business card and filed my complaint. After several emails going back and forth I was told that my complaint was resolved because the door was fixed while I was still there. My picture showing the door latch was taken the evening before check out disproving the manager’s statement. The manager’s last statement in an email to me was that I should stay somewhere else on my next visit to Albuquerque.
As an educator for a prominent University in Texas that teaches safety as well as a Hospitality Consultant for Safety and Security I found that the manager’s comments were not very customer friendly and the accommodation was questionable at best.
My room was ok
My other party female was given a room all the way in the back, upstairs by herself. She was afraid to stay there by herself. We ended up sharing a room as it was after midnight. Would like a refund! Person outside was on drugs throwing up

The fact that they weren't willing to work with me to modify my stay. They were getting money from me regardless. Why not make the consumer happy!?!?
Room size was great. Water pressure was great.
Breakfast was decent with a pretty neat pancake machine. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was well overdue for renovation. Tears in carpet & furniture. Beds were very uncomfortable.. My back was killing me towards the end of my trip because of the beds here. This was also located in a somewhat sketchy & run-down area of town.
Our room was in a great spot close to the pool and close to the office and the best part was being on the upper floor.
Busy weekend yet staff was so nice and helpful
I loved everything about it except I couldn’t cook because there was no pans so went to Walmart to by a pan which is close by
Both hair blow dryers were inoperable and the bag had toothpaste splatters on it. Also there was no extra blanket.

No broom to sweep floor, have to go get it from the office, no vacuum if you need it one garbage can very small fills up in no time of garbage can any of the bathrooms. Pigeon shit everywhere.
June 30, evening guy on duty wouldn’t light the pit, said he would have to turn it off in 30 minutes so he wouldn’t light it, very rude individual. I will never stay here again.
The room was amazing for the price we got upgraded and had the cutest two story room
