The pub providing food next door was lovely. Good atmosphere and we ate lunch dinner and breakfast there which was all lovely home cooked food. Dog was given water and treats and made very welcome.
Needs updating, though clean bathroom very dated and mould very visible.
15 minute drive to cruise terminal, food at venue attached was good , breakfast value was excellent.
Setting up for a major venue in the gardens was very noisy ,.

Staff member was not friendly and was quite blunt. My husband tried to chat friendly with her and she basically blanked him. Our room had a strange smell of dampness / old person smell. The pillows were lumpy . There was a mark on the under sheet. The bedside lamps were full of dust . They were intertwined metal design Which caused us to sneeze , also by the time we left had runny eyes which cleared up when we had left the room .

The staff were lovely. Truely dog friendly. Location good too and dinner food and service very good.
Our our daughter and husband said the bed in their room (5) was in need of replacements as one side seemed to have collapsed. They also reported some black mould and we too found a little in the bathroom. Also lots of dust on light fittings.
Breakfast was very slow. Had to ask more than once for more coffee and milk. Far too few staff. Took 45 mins to get a drink. Haddock very dry. For what it was it is expensive.
The mattress on the bed was nice and comfy, the TV was a nice big one, the shower was nice and hot, with good water pressure. My husband liked the biscuits.
The pillows were a bit flat and the bed was rather small, The curtains really need to be black out blinds in that room though as we had a lot of light pouring in at night. We were in 118 if that helps you locate the source of light. The shower curtain needed replacing in the bathroom as it was mouldy. The sink plug was jammed shut, with no way to empty the sink.
Staff all very friendly, good evening meal and breakfast too.
