A nice, clean hotel with a great mix of cozy vibes and accesibility to the city.
Pros:

The hotel itself is super nice and clean, and is stocked with lots of extra supplies in case you forgot any (hair brushes, shampoo and conditioner, etc). If you're looking to stay in a quieter area that's still well-connected to the rest of the city (close to a bus station + a subway station), this is a great option for the price!

Cons:

The only thing we wish we'd had was access to laundry services within the hotel!

Pros:

Location to Palace and temples adjacent
Bus 12 to city centre and shops/supermarkets only very short walk

Cons:

Not much space between beds.
Need to arrive and depart via train station but distance is not much of issue

Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean and the hotel is located in a calm area. Thanks to close city bus you may visit a lot of sight seeing.

Cons:

The window couldnt open, therefore, we couldnt air out the room after taking a bath/shower and the room was humid.
The hotel is far away from Kyoto Station, but you can take the city bus or taxi.

Central enough to the city, room was big enough to get by, and had a really nice sized bath

Cons:

Room hadn't been properly cleaned when we arrived, sink broke upon first use. No amenities provided at all you have to get everything from the front desk. They dont provide extra blankets at all.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff. Quiet neighbourhood.
Pros:

The location was ideal for what we required. It is approximately a 15x min walk from the closest Metro station, in a nice, quiet residential area. There is a Family Mart and 7-Eleven within 10x mins walk, a self-service laundrette 5x mins down the road along with a very nice Teppanyaki restaurant run by a Husband and Wife, small but welcoming and massive baseball fans!
The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. We needed to arrange a luggage forwarding transfer and the front desk were happy to complete the booking for us.
The room was very clean. Reception also has a small selection of toiletries available for free, toothbrush, tooth paste, wash cloths etc.

Cons:

Our room faced the neighbouring building, so not a great deal of natural light into the room.
