Very good value for money hotel and location!
Pros:

A very straightforward and budget-friendly hotel right in the quiet heart of Kyoto. A great value for the price, clean rooms overall and very straightforward and no frills or faults. Also provided free simple toiletries in the lobby. Well done.

p.s. look for the rather unexpected surprise in the room's decor... ;)

まずはフロントのスタッフルームの扉が忍者屋敷風でいきなり楽しく感じました！内装も清潔感があり、忍者をコンセプトにしてあって、外国人の方はもとより、子供にも楽しめそうなホテルでした。スタッフの方も丁寧で、またリピートしたいと思いました。

The worst Hotel in all Japan

Cons:

This hotel is dishonest. I booked two nights because the listing said 'private parking.' As soon as I paid, I contacted them to reserve it — they replied that motorcycles aren't allowed and the nearest parking is 3.5 km away. When I explained I couldn't do that and asked for a refund, just minutes after booking, they never answered. I had to find another hotel last-minute, and they kept my money. Avoid
