Best place to stay in Essen
Pros:

Great location, close to city center and surrounded by green and wood. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Lovely room.

Pros:

Das Haus ist schön, die Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet.

Cons:

Ich kann mich noch nicht wirklich an die Umpersönlichkeiit des Self-Check-In gewöhnen. Die Menschlichkeit geht verloren. Wir haben keinen einzigen Angestellten gesehen, da wir auch ohne Frühstück gebucht hatten.

Ruhig gelegen und doch gut zu erreichen.
Pros:

Sehr wertige Möblierung und Badausstattung. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht, besondere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Es wurde sogar ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten, weil wir spät eingecheckt hatten und der Schlüssel "personalfrei" ausgegeben wurde und somit keine Wahl möglich war. Es war die "hochheiße" im August.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksangebot (Bufett) fanden wir zu teuer und haben es vorgezogen außerhalb zu frühstücken.

Pros:

Sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes Haus. Ein hervorragendes Frühstück im schönen Wintergarten mit Blick ins Grüne, sehr freundliches Personal.
Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Cons:

Die Klangqualität des Fernsehers war ziemlich unterirdisch und der Lüfter im Bad (Zimmer 31) war unangenehm laut. Wir haben an der Rezeption einen entsprechenden Hinweis hinterlassen. Das schmälert aber nicht wirklich unseren insgesamt positiven Eindruck von diesem Hotel.
