Amazing views from the hotel. Really friendly staff and directly opposite Santa Lucia train station.
Pros:

Location was amazing, rooms big and exceeded my expectations. We had a room with a view on the canal.
Most of the staff were really friendly. All but 1 who was really abrupt and seemed like he didn’t want to answer my questions so he answered very quickly. I couldn’t grasp what he said. So I waited until later when another staff member was on the desk.
All other staff went above and beyond to help. Even let us charge our camera as we forgot the charger. Helpful organising a porter on the day we left. They also managed to merge my bookings into 1 as we had to book 2 rooms on each day due to availability.

Cons:

I wasn’t aware there are steps on the grand canal bridge and booked the hotel due to how close it was to the station. As I had 1 large suitcase and a child it would have been difficult to drag it on the steps. The porters were trying to overcharge me. Tried to charge me double what it was quoted to me in the hotel. Luckily I declined that price and they offered the correct price. Would be good for the stairs to be mentioned when booking for people who need accessibility.

Hotel céntrico y muy bien ubicado, enfrente de la estación de trenes y de una de las principales paradas de Vapporeto, lo que facilitaba moverte por la ciudad.

Cons:

Hotel ya anticuado, los baños y habitaciones necesitan una reforma. Las camas y las almohadas no son cómodas.

Excelente ubicacion, de facil acceso y buena atencion de su personal.

Cons:

Para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas y tener una ubicacion tan favorable deberian cuidar mas los detalles del hotel, las puertas y espejos de la habitacion estaban oxidados, las paredes de la habitacion estan cubiertas con un acolchado de tela que se nota antiquisimo, creo que con unos ajustes en la decoracion e imagen del hotel añadirian confort al alojamiento.

Situation géographique pratique et vue sur le canal

Cons:

C’est la première fois qu’un concierge d’un hôtel refuse de me commander un taxi car je ne voulais pas prendre celui de l hôtel qui était deux fois plus cher que le tarif classique pour aéroport.

Great hotel near train station
Pros:

I was upgraded to a very nice. large room on the ground floor courtyard. Great bed, comfy chairs, plenty of electrical outlets, refrigerator, large closet and bathroom with a deep tub and a great shower. Strong Wi-fi. Good breakfast.
