Great location right across from the beach. Very reasonably priced as compared to other hotels in the area. Easy checkin and 12:00 pm checkout, which was great. Beautiful large room (room 3301) with 2 queen beds that overlooked the park and beach. Very clean. Nice to sit in the porch and hear the crashing waves. The restaurant had excellent eclectic food. Staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely come back again.
Great location. Although we only stayed one night we walked to the Funk Zone for dinner and managed to sit by the pool for an hour or two
Room was large and comfortable
Nothing to report
Beautiful views of the ocean.
The roads nearby are noisy.
It’s a nice place with nice staff
Right across from the ocean with beautiful views. The restaurant is also lovely. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom. We had a great time!
We had our wedding stay here everyone was absolutely amazing!!!
Great location and restaurant!
Rooms need a refresh. Paint and new carpet would help a lot!
For years I’ve enjoyed my stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. It’s located in a great spot with ocean views and proximity to great restaurants.
A shout out to the valets, who always manage to keep my Tesla charged and ready to go.
Excellent! Greeted warmly upon arrival. Staff very personable & welcoming. Arranged room perfectly. Breakfast of Avocado Toast was supreme. I will come back!
The location was okay
Room had bugs in it and we had a terrible view. Room also smelled like something was burning and the AC was not working well
The front desk lady was amazing and very helpful!
Really nice Inn overall. Great location and super helpful team.
Flight was seriously delayed, got in way past midnight and yet check in was not a problem at all. Even at 2am, we were welcomed with a very friendly greeting and the fella who checked us in could not have been any nicer!
Spacious tastefully appointed rooms. Highly recommend a stay here.
Thank you!
Location is 10/10! The beach is literally across the street. Beautiful building, well maintained, heated pool, attentive staff. The rooms are refined, comfortable, and clean! Top notch place. Definitely our next stay when we come back to Santa Barbara.
The hotel has a boutique feel and attention to detail is excellent. The room size was great, we had space to move around in. We had a partial ocean view and could use the balcony.
They got my room service breakfast order wrong. I did not complain but it would have been better if they double checked. During the second day of our stay, they had to do some work on the air-conditioning which was inconvenient because we had to leave the room.
The hotel is across from Cabrillo Beach. It's about 15 minutes drive from State Street in downtown Santa Barbara where most of the shopping and dining options are located so pick this spot to unwind and relax. You can walk out and go for a stroll along the beach, just watch out for the oil residue in the sand that sticks to your feet and shoes! Our room was on the east side, second floor overlooking the garbage disposal area, and we heard the trash truck come in the morning. I advise you request a west-facing room to avoid this. The breakfasts in the Convivo Restaurant are delicious, and it's easy to get a beautiful table with an ocean view. The rooms are spacious with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. The staff were friendly, and the valets were very helpful. My brother and I were mistakenly told that we had a $25/day credit for use in Convivo Restaurant for breakfast. Turns out that if you don't book your room directly with the hotel, that's not true. Nevertheless, the manager, Maria, reimbursed us for the credit.
The staff are all very friendly and professional. The room was immaculate! Very, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a nice bonus. Delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere. We had a great experience at the Santa Barbara Inn.
We flew from CT on July 20, getting up at 4:30am and arriving here at 1:30. After waiting in long line, we were told on no uncertain terms that a room would be ready before 4:00. That's it. So we ate and waited and it was far after 4:00 till we got the room. The room: a first floor, upon looking at the patio, the small wall is filthy with mud and debris, did not want to eat there. I took pics. Then, there is a yellow stain line on shower that is permanent, as well as mold in the corners. Took pic of that. The bathroom sink has a broken drain, another pic. We walked towards the wharf, crossing your grounds, around the flower section of your property, and saw two dead huge rats., pictures of those. Upon return there was an added dead rat. Service-our thermostat stopped working in the morning. We tried to call three times yesterday ..all three times it rang and rang, then held, for five-seven minutes, then busy signal and hang up. When I gave up and walked to desk last night to ask about help for thermostat, the nighttime clerk was rude and flippant. They filled out a work order, but it took another hour, while we were in our sweltering room. Someone could have told us that the door we opened to cool off disengaged the thermostat. We have no shampoo left in our shower container for our final shower and I don't even attempt to call or walk the two blocks worth to your front desk. This is substandard accommodations. I have worked in the hospitality industry and used to live in Santa Barbara.
Friendly hotel and staff with the beach in front of you and a beautiful pool area and excellent restaurant.
Watch out if you’re walking in the water on the beach ! There’s no warnings about the tar that comes out and covers your feet and shoes.
