Fantastic service
Pros:

Beautiful outside and the communal areas and wonderful staff

Cons:

The room felt dated, I stayed at the Hilton garden inn and it felt on par with the interior there. I had expected a better room design and style, especially for the price, my stay at the Sofitel in Heathrow airport was far more elevated and that was an airport hotel. Hopefully Adolphus has interior upgrades on the cards. Or maybe I was just on a floor that hadn't been given a facelift.

Das Hotel ist sehr luxuriös, die Betten sind super bequem!

Cons:

Ich weiß, es ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau: an unserem Kosmetikspiegel klebten viele „Reste“ des vorherigen Gastes. Das war echt eklig und da bin ich leider sehr empfindlich. Das möchte ich nicht sehen.

The view from the room was great. The building is old but it looks real nice and updated inside. Love my stay.

It’s a beautiful place to stay

Cons:

The price of drinks were high. $30 for an Old Fashion. I drank one and left the hotel to have a drink somewhere else. It was light too. It was just my wife and I. The place we went was half that price and better drinks.

If you want to stay in a historic hotel in downtown Dallas don't hesitate to stay at the Adolphus
Pros:

The history of the hotel and the staff. I actually forgot a Rolex watch in room and it was turned into security

Cons:

Some of the elevators are very small but it is an older hotel and you just have to look over that

The Amazing Adolphus!!
Pros:

The historic decor took my breath away! Eric at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome, giving us all the details of the hotel amenities. His great hospitality set the tone for stay! It has amazing restaurants - onsite, so you can vacay in place. The pool was amazing, including upbeat music (but lounge type) and poolside service (I had the Pina Colada!). The room was well-appointed with fluffy, comfortable pillows. This is a historic hotel that has transformed to a modern experience - but, most importantly the hospitality and service will always remain legendary - from Eric at check-in to “Rito” at the Bistro, where we enjoyed an amazing breakfast, everything was so relaxing and perfect. Thank you Adolphus for an outstanding mini-vacay at Dallas!

We had the best time at tea in the French Room
Pros:

Huge thank you to Connie (our waitress at the French Room) and Pedro, who helped my disabled grandma in her wheelchair get there safely! Connie was absolutely incredible at her job, and so personable and sweet. Because of her (and the amazing food) we had the most incredible time. As my mom said, we knew we would be impressed by the food, but actually we were WOWED!!! every bite was an adventure to your tastebuds 😂😍 simply an amazing experience that I will treasure forever!
