En suosittelisi ystävilleni huonetta.
Pros:

Yleisilme siisti, sijainti ihana rauhallinen ja lähellä julkinen liikenne. Ilmainen kahvi hotellista.

Cons:

Pieni ahdas huone, jonka ovi ei pitänyt mitään ääniä. Kaikki äänet kuului huoneeseen jopa yöllä. Huoneemme oli käytännössä respan vieressä. Yötä päivää ihmiset huusivat ja hyppivät käytävillä. Lisäksi huoneeseen ei olisi edes mahtunut isoa matkalaukkua levittämään minnekkään kun tilaa oli niin vähän, sivuston kuvissa en yhtään nuin ahdasta huonetta nähnyt. Sängyt olivat melko pehmoiset, kaappia ei saanut auki kokonaan sisustuksen vuoksi. Huoneesta puuttui jääkaappi sekä yöpöydät. Takapihalle avartui näkymä muihin hotellihuoneisiin, siispä pidimme verhot visusti kiinni. Myös takapihan äänet kuuluivat selkeästi huoneeseen. Kun majoitus alkoi huoneen lämpötila oli säädetty niin kylmälle, että meni koko ilta aikaa lämmitellä huonetta itse säädettävällä ilmastoinnilla.

Kylpyhuoneen suihku todella jäykkä ja sen käyttäninen miltei mahdotonta. Valitimme respaan ja työntekijä vain ilmoitti että kaikissa huoneissa on sama vika.. Lisäksi suihkussa ei ollut telinettä saippualle eikä koukkua käsipyyhkeelle. Myös lattiankuivain puuttui ja vesi valui kylpyhuoneesta oven toiselle puolen. Kylpyhuone oli tilava, mutta tuntui että siellä oli priorisoitu vääriä asioita.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja pääsääntöisesti huoneessa oli puhdasta. Seinät näyttivät likaisilta ja kokolattiamatto oli täynnä hiuksia.

Tolle Lage, fußläufig zu Bäckerei, Cafés und Museumsbezirk, sehr sauberes Zimmer

Cons:

Ebenerdige Dusche ohne Begrenzung. Das halbe Bad steht nach dem Duschen unter Wasser und es gibt keine Flitsche.
Außerdem konnte man die Fenster nicht öffnen zum Lüften.
Ansonsten fanden wir alles prima

Cons:

Noise, - people talking loudly between 1am-5am. Doors bang shut. no tea just coffee and a single herbal tea. Bathroom poorly designed, one shower floods the floor

A would gladly stay again if I ever revisited Amsterdam..!
Pros:

The Alfred Hotel is located in a wonderful area, very close to the park, very easy to walk around, the room was very clean and cozy, and the receptionists were amazing, felt like home, very kind and willing to help with any request or question we might had.:!

Budget stay near conveniences
Pros:

Location was excellent, very close to food options, a grocery store, and a main tram line. Also excellent AC. The front desk was very helpful whenever we had questions. It’s a good place to stay if you’re expecting to spend most of your time out of your room exploring

Cons:

Definitely a more budget option. Housekeeping is every other day (which was fine for us, but we didn’t realize that until we were given our keys), beds weren’t the most comfortable, rooms are not insulated well so sound carries from other rooms (highly recommend using ear plugs, we had a room on our floor literally screaming past 10pm), and there were a very limited number of cable channels available on the TV. The TV was an older model so there aren’t options for streaming. The shower enclosure was probably a good 6” too short, so after every shower the entire bathroom was soaked. Which is when the every other day housekeeping did become inconvenient, because we’d have to use our towels to soak up the lake on the floor.
