Won't return.
Cons:

Room was having faucet fixed when we entered. Had to request a different room. Breakfast was very bad. No dairy free option for eggs. They had milk in them.

Pros:

The balcony was decent.

Cons:

There was not an elevator in the part of the hotel we stayed. I had to carry an 80 pound cooler up a flight of stairs n down a flight of stairs. The staff failed to tell us there was no elevator to our floor. When using the bathroom sink it kept plugging up so we had to wait for the water to go down to use it. The couch bed was not stable, could feel the springs.

Marginal value. Room decently clean, but condition was dissapointing.

Location is great, decently clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Pretty expensive for what you get(like all of mackinaw). Everything is dated, which is ok if it’s in good condition and clean, but this was a bit delapidated. The toilet was loose and leaked a bit. And I’m pretty sure that there is some mold/mildew in the room. No drain plug for tub, breakfast was not worth eating. The pool was unheated, unusable, swimming in the lake would be as warm.

Pros:

location, my room on the 2nd floor is spacious, it's also facing the lake which is a big plus..

Cons:

the room is outdated, some towels and the bedding has old stains, back building dont have elevator

Pros:

The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, with a lovely balcony view of the waterfront. It had a really nice beach and I wish it had been warm enough to go swimming. We had fun watching the Ferry depart & return to the dock, which was nearby. It had a delicious provided breakfast, and I totally enjoyed my swim in their indoor pool. We could even see the Mackinaw Bridge from our deck. Also, it was close to the downtown tourist attractions and various dining choices. We had a nice walk about and of course had to go visit the Welcome Center underneath the Mighty Mac. It was a nice overnight stay, on our way to the Upper Peninsula.

Cons:

The stairs. The unit we were in didn't have elevator access, so there was a roundabout way of taking an elevator in another unit as far as we could go, and then walking up & down different flights of stairs to get to our room. It wasn't a lot of stairs, but still very inconvenient. I guess that is something one might want to consider when booking, ask how accessible the room is.

I picked this motel because of the ratings you gave it. It was rated 7.8 No it's not
Pros:

The room was nice but the rest had a lot to get better.

Cons:

The pool was in a building away from the rooms in the parking lot. The free breakfast was poor. Handicaped person really could not get around with the stairsteps that you had to use to get to your rooms and to the dinning room.

If I stayed there again, I would plan on leaving for breakfast

It was quiet and the beds were comfortable

Cons:

There were no USB ports, and the dining room was extremely cold. The breakfast would have been fabulous, except for the fact that everything was cold. People were sitting in the dining room with coats and hats on a couple had blankets.

The breakfast and location were great!

Cons:

The pool was frigid, and the hot tub was more like a cool tub; our jet hottub bath was broken and the front desk was in no way helpful.
