Not one thing!!!
Beach front property? We had a view of the parking lot!!! We drove 7 hours to find out it was fish fly season!!! Millions of flies everywhere!!! They swarm you outside land on you and go inside with you!! We spent the night then left the next morning!! We slept with flies it was nasty!!!
Nothing!!!
Everything!!!
Love that it was right on the beach and that the staff was super helpful when it came to accommodations for a person wheelchair bound.
There was nothing about the actual facility or staff I didnt like
Staff was great
No ice machine
No hot tub / not working with spider webs around it.
Why was it advertised and why did I have to pay for it if it did not work
No washer dryer (construction)
Pool area dirty/ buckets of sand just sitting around. Pool dirty. We did not use it
Breakfast cold No microwave to heat up the cold food. Pancakes like hard saucer plates
Had to go out for breakfast. But had a local coupon that helped
It was quiet other than that not much.
Dated and falling apart room. Wall paper curling/peeling, bathroom light/fan missing cover inside ceiling visible. No toilet paper holder. Very dirty never appeared to have been deep cleaned. Furniture old and worn auction house looks. Dust around the lower moulding and walls below furniture top splashed with filth and heater/ac dirty, porch needs pressure washing. Same in the breakfast room. Multiple disconnected buildings numbered very confusing and hard to find the room. Front clerk did not explain the building location well. I walked up the 3rd floor stairs 3 times in a circle trying to figure out where my room was. I was at.the.wrong building. You get it.
On the waterfront
The property was fine. However, if you advertise that you provide breakfast then provide it. Also, can’t have ice!?! Also if you advertise a pool make sure the pool is open. Pretty disappointing to get there and find out the pool not open, no breakfast and no ice!
This was a horrid hotel when we stayed here. They moved us 3x before reluctantly giving us a refund. Then I gave an honest review and they billed us back the refund they gave without any communication. I had to go through the parent company to get my money back. I am still bothered that the terrible owners got my money and clarion took the hit. The first room was filthy
The bed was caved in the middle and lumpy. It smelled like mildew. The second room I didn't even look at because the smell was so potent before even stepping over the threshold. The 3rd room had a clogged sink and hair in the tub. Nothing has been updated since at least 1972. The jacuzzi had 2 inch thick brown foam. The pool was foggy/dirty and had a layer of sand covering the bottom. We found a hotel down the street.
The breakfast was Ok. Wish they had biscuits and gravy
My wife got up there for breakfast even though me and my grandchild was still eating they locked the door at 9am and wouldn't let her in. So she missed breakfast. I think they could have made a exception since there was plenty of food left that was most likely thrown away.
Breakfast was ok- coffee was horrible.
The pool and hot tub were absolutely nasty. It looked like the scum from the pond in the hot tub and the pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the stairs.
There were full trash cans everywhere, dead and alive bugs on the stairs , cigarette butts all over the place.
We had half a roll of toilet paper when we went into the room and when I called the front desk to get more I was told I had to come get it.
The room had an old musty odor and sheets were stained and dirty. Carpet was dirty and old and needs replaced. The bathtub needs new caulking and the whole room needs updating.
I liked our room with the balcony overlooking the beach and the lake.
The hot tub in the pool building was terrible looking and the Jets weren’t working properly and the rail on the steps to go in to the hot tub was loose. Disappointed
Didn’t have breakfast, it would be nice if served until 10 a.m.
Nice layout and decor in room and bathroom.
There seemed to be a little bit of a musty smell… Maybe the carpet.
Lying down, looked at the ceiling and saw a number of spiderwebs.
Breakfast was good
Breakfast hours could be longer
Hot tub was very dirty
