I’d have paid $50 more to have them clean up better.
Pros:

Beds and pillows were clean and so was the toilet, sink, and bath. Staff were nice, made an alright breakfast some was fine the rest was mediocre. Black out curtains were sweet.

Cons:

The mediocre part of the breakfast, and when we arrived there were several crumbs and a piece of fried chicken that we stepped into. So many bugs in every corner of our room, with a literal spider nest on our front door, thankfully we had no visitors in our sleep.

DON'T STAY AT MACKINAW CITY, MI CLARION HOTEL BEACHFRONT
Pros:

Most of the hotels in Mackinaw City are owned by the same individual/company. Most of the hotels in Mackinaw have TERRIBLE service. Specifically the Clarion! The guest hot tub was lukewarm...a breeding ground for bacteria. There was a light above it hanging by a wire! DANGEROUS! The pool was so dirty it looked like a pond. The hot tub rooms were MOLDY! This is DANGEROUS to your lungs and can cause infections and disease! The rooms are dirty! Filth on the lamp shades, floors not cleaned properly. Furniture LITERALLY STINKS! cobwebs everywhere. Halls not properly cleaned! Of the three rooms we were offered the third room had no safety latch on the door! DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The staff were RUDE!!!! They did not care about any of our complaints or concerns...they made excuses and said, "if you don't like it you can leave your key card at the front desk." Oh...by the way...THEY WILL NOT GIVE REFUNDS! The manager was RUDE on the phone. They tried to give us one room after the other but they do NOT care about the cleanliness of their hotel and it is evident in EVERY room!!! If you have stayed here and have a similar experience PLEASE contact the attorney generals office, consumer protection division 877-765-8388. Also contact the public health office in Gaylord, MI 989 448 2967. This has been going on for YEARS and there is no accountibility. Lets hold them accountable!

It was horrible we left the same day we checked in. And you refused our refund and so there for our stay was not pleasan
Pros:

It was filthy the walls had food on them the air conditioning had about 2inch of dust on the filter. The pool and hot tube were dirty. We left and found a clean hotel.

Cons:

Nothing wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Disappointed
Pros:

We are currently staying here now. Was way overcharged, had to ask for clean sheets because there were food crumbs in the bed, pool and hot tub are both cold and property is dirty. Bathroom by the pool appeared to have poop smeared on the doorframe.The only good thing so far is the balcony view and the beach. I booked through Choice as a member and will never stay here again.

the property was horrible. nothing worked in my room. the fridge didn’t work. the microwave didn’t work. the Liana’s didnt work. the tv didn’t work.

For the price I paid it was very disappointing!

We had no towels in our room, I had to go get them myself, no stopper for the tub
(For a bath) , the lamp shades were literally falling apart. The place needs power washing and is very out dated. The pool was freezing cold. The toilet handle was tied together with a string in order to flush it. The alarm clocks made a loud humming noise so we had to unplug them.
