Would choose somewhere else next time.
Pros:

Location was good. Staff in office were nice. The breakfast was fine.

Cons:

Floors were not clean. Mattress and pillows were not comfortable. Pillows were flat with no form at all when you laid your head on them. Towels were rough and uncomfortable.

Pros:

The staff was friendly and the shower was really hot.

Cons:

The walls are very thin. The blankets were very thin. The breakfast area could have been set up for easier access. The room had a wall light between the beds that has its cord cut so there wasn't any lighting near the beds.

Overall it was a good price for a single overnight stay and worth the cost to be located so close to downtown and right
Pros:

I appreciated how close it was located to the downtown shopping center.

Cons:

Facilities were significantly outdated and in need of minor maintenance. The wallpaper in our room was peeling and the shower and sink faucets both dripped. One of the lightbulbs was also blown and should have been replaced prior to our occupancy.

Complete disappointment in the Clarion experience.
Pros:

Place was absolutely filthy. Their fish flies are a complete nuisance. I’m surprised anybody visits Chesapeake during this fish fly season.

It was dirty towel and shower room wasn’t clean so asked to change the room. Not enough outlets and so many bugs outside of the door. Never stay again.

it's not great - it's fine for a night
Pros:

I did like that it was walking distance to a ferry to go to the island.

Cons:

this hotel works on that it is just barely passable on all levels, from the cleanliness to the food at breakfast - it's not great but it will do for a night. We stayed for two nights and at that point we are pushing it the beds were uncomfortable me and my partner debated checking out early and sleep in our tent just because it's would have been a better night sleep

Not one thing!!!

Cons:

Beach front property? We had a view of the parking lot!!! We drove 7 hours to find out it was fish fly season!!! Millions of flies everywhere!!! They swarm you outside land on you and go inside with you!! We spent the night then left the next morning!! We slept with flies it was nasty!!!

Great hotel
Pros:

Love that it was right on the beach and that the staff was super helpful when it came to accommodations for a person wheelchair bound.

Cons:

There was nothing about the actual facility or staff I didnt like

A Dirty Foreign Owned building.
Pros:

It was quiet other than that not much.

Cons:

Dated and falling apart room. Wall paper curling/peeling, bathroom light/fan missing cover inside ceiling visible. No toilet paper holder. Very dirty never appeared to have been deep cleaned. Furniture old and worn auction house looks. Dust around the lower moulding and walls below furniture top splashed with filth and heater/ac dirty, porch needs pressure washing. Same in the breakfast room. Multiple disconnected buildings numbered very confusing and hard to find the room. Front clerk did not explain the building location well. I walked up the 3rd floor stairs 3 times in a circle trying to figure out where my room was. I was at.the.wrong building. You get it.

It was an okay place to stay for a couple of days. Location was easy to get around

No ice machine
No hot tub / not working with spider webs around it.
Why was it advertised and why did I have to pay for it if it did not work
No washer dryer (construction)
Pool area dirty/ buckets of sand just sitting around. Pool dirty. We did not use it
Breakfast cold No microwave to heat up the cold food. Pancakes like hard saucer plates
Had to go out for breakfast. But had a local coupon that helped
