Beautiful building, great location, good sleep.
Could do with a bit more storage or hangers in the room
Great location and absolutely courteous staff.
Very minimal facilities. Rooms have no amenities. Ordinary beds
Velmi hezký a pohodlný hotel s moc dobrým snídaňovým bufetem.
Při příjezdu v podvečerních hodinách jsme čekali 10 minut než se objevil někdo z recepce.
Good old property worh ancient look
There were no enough amenities
Hyggelig personale
Ingen air condition på rommet!! Og mye støy utenfor om natten, så vanskelig å sove med vindu åpent. Egentlig umulig å være der
The location was very good and the breakfast had a lot of options.
The staff wasn’t very helpful and failed to provide clear directions to our room, which was not located in the main building. As a result, we spent about 30 minutes trying to find it while carrying our luggage. Additionally, we found a stain on the bed sheets, which was disappointing.
Great location opposite the station and near everything downtown .
Cosy apartment room in old adjacent villa.
Old breakfast
The location was very convenient for exploring the city.
The hotel was recommended as a “baby-friendly” hotel but there were very few facilities for families and there was nowhere to relax in the hotel except the bar, which only had people quietly working and having business meetings during the day. The hotel is more suitable for business travel.
Café da manhã e academia incríveis
Quarto um pouco velho mas super aconchegante.
Breakfast and staff
Room was clean
Location
Rooms are not noise proof as you could hear the person talking and watching tv next door.
Couldn't sleep both nights for a room £231 per night
There were works on the road for next door building whole night. No communication from the hotel.
It ruined our travel days to explore etc We won't be staying here again.
The Proximity to the railway station. There is a historical charm to the property and I like the way the rooms have been renovated but still the historical element alive.
First of all, I sent a message from bookings that we would be arriving only around 8:00 pm however, I don't think anyone read the message as I received a reply only 2 days into the stay. So they ran out of rooms. I had clearly booked one of the bigger rooms on the property as we are a family of 2 adults and 1 child, but the lady at the reception said they cannot fit in an extra child bed in the room.
If you are staying in the property for more than a day..I Wish you all the best. The cleaning is a matter of concern. For the 4 nights we stayed there not even once was the room swept or vacuumed. The Cleaning lady changed the bathroom towels and did up the beds but that was it. On the second day of my stay when I asked the cleaning lady she informed me that she would only clear the garbage and change towels, I didn't know this will continue for all the days of my stay. On the 3rd day I went to the reception and checked what is the policy of changing the bed linen and I was told every 3 days. So on the 3rd day of my stay at least the bed linen was changed.
People choose 4 and 5 star hotels as they can be rest assured of the services and especially the cleanliness. I do understand the sustainability aspect but not short cuts when it comes to ensuring the rooms are clean and welcoming.
I don't think I would stay here again.
Location, charm of an historic hotel.
Nothing precisely.
