Gorgeous hotel with super friendly staff

What a gorgeous hotel with fabulous, friendly staff and perfect location. Loved the art work and the design is sensational - it feels opulent but also comfortable

Hotel with great potential but let down by attention to detail
Pros:

Great location, charming main spaces.. we stayed in the garden villa, wonderful room. Breakfast was well appointed.

Cons:

The lawn was set up for an event that either happened or was to happen, but it was not kept (turned over chairs and such, like a fratparty happened and wasn’t cleaned up for days).

Beautiful historic hotel
Pros:

The proximity to the railway station couldn’t have been better. I easily rolled 4 bags across the road to the terminal in 3 minutes. The historic building was beautiful and our room huge. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful and our dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Cons:

The height of the bath sides was ridiculous. There was no way my 82 year old friend could have got into or out of it to have a shower. He had to wash in the basin. Thank goodness we were only there one night.

Abbiamo segnalato una ns speciale esigenza e ci è stata dedicata una camera nuova nell’ala moderna adiacente alla struttura antica. Camera molto suggestiva con servizi e ottimamente arredata son grandi vetrate con affacci non panoramici ma molto suggestivi

Excellent breakfast.Packed breakfast given when leaving early . Staff very friendly and helpful.Very convenient.to town.

Cons:

A little more organisation around finding tables for breakfast.
Maybe stagger breakfast times.
