De kamer was prima, het bed was goed, de schoonmaak was uitstekend en het ontbijt was goed.

Cons:

Ik dacht dat er een dakterras was waar je lekker in de zon kon zitten/liggen, maar dat was niet zo. Het was heel klein en het was ook gesloten. Eerlijk gezegd vond ik het eerder een 4* hotel dan 5*. Dit in ogen schouw nemende vond ik het ook heel erg duur.

Sehr gute Lage, freundliches Personal

Cons:

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Zimmer zum Innenhof mit fürchterlichem Ausblick.
Dachterrasse mit Pool trotz bestem Sommerwetter komplett geschlossen und schon seit längerem aber ohne Hinweis auf der Homepage. Sitzgelegenheit im Innenhof ohne Kissen auf den Stühlen und Getränke musste man selber holen.

Very nice
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect — very convenient and close to everything we needed, which made our trip much more enjoyable.

The staff were incredibly supportive, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and hospitality truly made a difference in our experience.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location, nice bathrooms, helpful staff and comfortable bed.

Cons:

Stayed in a duplex the downstairs room was rather dark and depressing. . The bed faced steep marble stairs which I nearly fell down in the middle of the night. We were woken early most mornings as it was quite noisy.

We hebben genoten van Madrid en zeker ook van het hotel.
Pros:

De locatie is perfect, in het hart van Madrid op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden.
De kamers en ook de badkamer zijn heel ruim en schoon.

Cons:

Ontbijt is goed, maar nog wel heel traditioneel. De bediening is formeel en wat stijfjes. Hoort misschien ook in een koninklijke stad. Er zullen zeker mensen zijn die dat heel erg op prijs stellen, maar misschien niet helemaal meer van deze tijd. Prijs voor het ontbijt is best fors voor wat je krijgt, maar zal ook met de locatie te maken hebben.

De kamer was erg warm, ondanks dat de airco koud was ingesteld. Wellicht iets om te controleren? De douche was in een bad en daardoor wat kleiner om in te staan.

Unfortunately the layout of the room with a sunken sitting area could be dangerously slippery (as I did slip and fall down on the stairs and not able to walk properly for the next 2 days - luckily it happened on our last day in Madrid).
