The view was amazing

Cons:

The room smelled bad and the furniture was old. The bathroom was disgusting and not clean. There was no hair conditioner provided. I also didn't know that the amusement park was located inside the hotel, so it was very noisy during my stay.

For 345€ per night I did not expect the bathroom to be dirty upon arrival. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm and had to go downstairs to reception to ask them to go back and clean the toilet. Never had that problem in a hotel or even hostel before.. i guess we were just bad luck and it was our room the only one left uncleaned or unreviewed. Also hand soap bottle was completely empty. White thin curtains in the room were torn in some places. Idk, for the price, I was expecting something standard, at least.

A hotel stay that left a little to be desired.
Pros:

The hilltop location offers fantastic views over the bay and out to sea. The rooftop swimming pool is better than pools in other hotels. Though the menu in the bar and at breakfast is limited, the food is good.

Cons:

The quality of information offered at the hotel is poor. It is hard to access information about room service, in fact, room service does not seem to be available. The website provides incorrect information, e.g. about pool bar opening times. This was made worse because staff also gave us contradictory information which led to confusion.
The bathroom shows its age and there are few facilities you might expect for a room that cost about £400 per night. For example, the shower is over the bath and does not provide easy access for people with disabilities. A few of the staff seem to find it difficult to smile.
The barrier entry system is OK but it is difficult to order takeaway food because security staff will not let drivers through (see comments about room service and the pool bar above).

Amazing location and views. Poor service
Pros:

Amazing location. View from everywhere in the hotel. The pool has a gorgeous view too. Nice rooms.

Cons:

Service is terrible everywhere. Long line to check in at front desk. Service was terrible at the restaurant and the food wasn’t great. Service by the pool was not good either, and the food was mediocre. So much potential with that location and view but the service is not up to the rest

Vacker utsikt! Fint och bekvämt poolområde

Cons:

Personalen var otrevlig, inte alls serviceminded. Städpersonalen lämnade dörren vidöppen när de städatklart. Städpersonalen tog våra privata vinglas, vilket vi meddelande receptionen, som bara ryckte på axlarna och sa ”we dont have”. Ingen ursäkt, kompensation eller minsta tecken på att de tog ansvar för det inträffade. Städningen på rummet var dessutom nästintill obefintlig. Vid frukosten fick vi varje morgon leta efter kaffekoppar som var ordentligt diskade och inte spruckna. Känns som om ledningen på hotellet bara gett upp eller inte ens bryr sig länge.

Stunning views and beautiful art deco appeal to the hotel bar
Pros:

Beautiful foyer, bar and restaurant but even more stunning views. Staff are all helpful and friendly

Cons:

Some wear and tear to the rooms that might need updating. USB/USC charge points would be nice as would more cupboard space but staff kept the rooms clean and the balcony virws are amazing

The View & Location: Absolutely priceless. Sitting on the room balcony in the evening and taking in the breathtaking, panoramic view of La Concha Bay makes this place truly special.

Price & Value: It is a bit on the pricier side, but given the iconic location perched high above San Sebastián, the extraordinary scenery makes it well worth the extra cost.

Overall: A fantastic stopover. If you want unforgettable views and a relaxing evening above the city, this hotel is hard to beat.
