Laylow offered a free beginner ukulele lesson and it was great! Ukuleles were provided at no cost. Jason Tse was an excellent instructor and got me playing songs very quickly. He even challenged me with some different strumming techniques. Very friendly and patient. Also, after the lesson you get 1/2 off a Maitai at the bar, which was a nice bonus.

Went to happy hour + din with some gfs, had the pleasure of having Nicole as a server at hideout. She was so attentive and refilled our waters so seamlessly. We sat next to the fire pit, for some pupus, good ambience and music. I'll be coming back again!

Really great hotel! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Nuri was especially helpful whenever I needed housekeeping assistance. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

Today we had breakfast at the Hideout and Nicole from the get-go was amazing, attentive and friendly. The amenities are great and we loved our corner suite. This was the best stay I’ve had in Honolulu! The staff was amazing, but I have to especially acknowledge Rita. She was so helpful, kind, and honestly made our stay so much more wonderful. Thank you Rita for such an amazing experience at Laylow!

Had a staycation with my partner. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, and clean areas. Rita at front desk was friendly and super helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat in the area! Will definitely return!

My fav hotel in the world. Two kings for the kids, beverage station (including sparkling), complimentary shaved ice and fruit, excellent mai tais plus excellent service. Nicole awesome at Hideout. The food is superb - loco moco, Mac pancakes, mai tais, chai/matcha lattes. Shallow pool for kids. Location can’t be beat

We did a last minute stay for my birthday and it was perfect. The room was spacious, beds were so comfy, and very clean. The front desk was friendly and welcoming and Jordi from valet was very helpful and attentive! Overall loved our stay and would come again.

The location was close to all activities and beaches. Great customer service and my housekeeper Karen made my stay very peaceful for my 50th birthday celebration.

Family of 5 on a Hawaii trip — we stayed two nights at The Laylow as a break from Maui and it delivered on every front. Superb location, friendly staff, and a chic modern vibe that felt just right. The bar/restaurant with live music was excellent — great energy but never loud enough to disturb our room. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well done. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing time at the Laylow. First off, such a cool name. This was my first time here. I had to come to Hawaii for a last minute business trip and I’m glad I chose here. From the location to the staff and amenities, it was a great place I would highly recommend. Thank you so much to the friendly front desk ma’am Sheila, I was very anxious after a long flight and the last minuteness of my trip and she was very assuring and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience at the laylow Hotel for breakfast. My husband and I ate at the hideout Resturant for breakfast. The iced mocha pistachio latte was out of this world. And the smoke salmon Benedict was best I ever had. Our Sever Sarah was the greatest part. She was so helpful in what to order, knowledge, patient (I couldn’t make up mind) attentive and always had a smile on her face. Fantastic service. 10 out of 10 experience!

Just want to say everyone at Laylow is very helpful they go above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing!! Sheila, Rita, Raimu, Dom, Sophie, Ashley, Kym, Midori, CJ, Jace, & Shawn are all excellent and would love to come back soon for another stay at Laylow!!!

Great room and even better people! Dominick and the front desk staff were kind and super helpful. Easy walk to the beach and area restaurants/shops. Room was quiet, clean and spacious; and the price fit right in our budget. Exercise room is just enough to get in your workout and the pool is perfect for lounging or a quick dip to cool off. Shave Ice and fun activities for the kids, nightlife right at the hotel for the adults.

We had an amazing stay, and I especially want to recognize our housekeeper Nori. She was absolutely wonderful! Every time she saw us, she greeted us with a smile, remembered my children, and always asked if we needed anything. Our room was spotless every single day, and you could really tell she took pride in her work.

Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our stay. It’s employees like her who make a vacation even more memorable. Thank you for going above and beyond—we truly appreciate everything you did for our family!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Everything is so close by and convenient! The pool was perfect for the kids and hideout entertainment was so nice to have! The housekeeping staff was very hospitable and service was excellent! We really appreciate Noridel and the rest of the staff, made our stay so enjoyable and memorable!
