We had a great stay at the hotel! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Rimu at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was very helpful throughout our stay.

I also want to give a special thank you to Mayrose from houseperson, who was working at night and kindly delivered our toothbrushes and extra blankets when we needed them. We really appreciated her help and kindness. Overall, everyone made us feel very welcome, and we would definitely stay here again!

Alvin, Sherry Mae and Joey were so lovely and provided excellent service. We loved the Hideout had delicious food and drinks. Valet service was also quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again!!

Chiara was absolutely amazing! She was kind, professional, attentive, and made the entire experience feel effortless. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she works with and takes pride in what she does. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled perfectly, and I truly appreciated her patience and positive attitude.

The stay was so relaxing and so convenient. Nori our 5th floor housekeeper was so kind and greeted us every time with a smile! She made us feel so welcome and took great care of us. Everyone from the front desk, the coffee cafe, and housekeepers were great!

The location is lowkey for busy Waikiki which I favored greatly. The atmosphere is charming and laidback.

The hideout restaurant is absolutely delicious. Christie was my server through the week—her hospitality and charm were bar none and I appreciated her care and attention through my week stay!

Christie was our waitress at the hideout while we were staying at the laylow and she was phenomenal! So warm and welcoming!

We stayed at the Laylow for five nights and everyone that worked there was very friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. Wanted to give a special shout out to Jerome, who was our housekeeper while we were there. Jerome couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating and was so very fast and efficient in meeting our needs. He is a gem!

Stayed at the hotel. Great location…the Hideout Bar had excellent drinks, atmosphere, and Chiara our server was excellent.

This hotel is right in the middle of Waikiki! You are 5-10 minutes from the beach, and right next to shops and the shopping strip. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Plus for Waikiki, the cost was very reasonable. We booked the hotel with daily free drink package and $100 restaurant credit for the hideout. With all those perks, it made the trip worth it. I want to give a special shout out to Dominick at the front, he took care of us and made sure we had our vacation packages sorted.

Demmie, our room attendant was so friendly, caring, and helpful. She was pleasant to discuss local happenings and a true gem of an employee and person.

Unfortunately, we are not on vacation. My daughter had extensive eye surgery and unable to fly home to Maui. Our housekeeper Jerome was wonderful. We asked not to be disturbed. When I encountered Jerome in the corridor he always had a big smile and a friendly greeting. Jerome was always available and attentive to our needs. He provided excellent service above and beyond. Jerome is a five star employee. Thanks Jerome!

Big shoutout to the whole team at lawlow hotel and hideout restaurant! My first time staying in Hawaii and wow what a treat, the room was beautiful and clean, the staff were amazing. I love the Laylow! A true hidden gem in the heart of Waikiki. Their atmosphere is so welcoming and exactly what I was looking for - Cozy Hawaii vibes with a really fun on-site restaurant. Sierra at their front desk is so friendly and helpful - she made sure my visit was everything I hoped for!
Their Hideout Restaurant & Bar has great service and I love the live music!
Cassidy and Shelby are amazing servers at the Hideout and I would for sure request them again when dining there.

We had a great time at The Laylow! Sierra was so helpful during check-in and went above and beyond to make sure we got a room with a great view. The hotel is located centrally in Waikiki, close to all restaurants. The atmosphere was great, and the staff made us feel so welcomed. I would definitely stay here again!

Consistently the most pleasant & comfortable stay in Waikiki! I have stayed at the Laylow numerous times on work trips to Oahu, going back at least 6 years. I love the throwback style and appreciate the effort put into maintaining the kitschy vibe throughout the hotel and the Hideout. I love the little stack of books that you'll find in the rooms; every time I stay I find myself paging through at least one of them. The staff is always extremely friendly, helpful, professional, and engaging. The Laylow is ALWAYS my first choice to stay at when I travel to Oahu.

In particular I want to give a shout out to Sierra at the front desk. She displayed outstanding customer service skills both during my check-in and in assisting me with an issue on the last morning of my stay. Thank you and I hope we cross paths again the next time I stay!
