The hotel room had a weird smell, the bathroom definitely needed extra attention around the shower. The dishwasher was flooding from the bottom and the sink.

To start, the front desk staff was absolutely, incredibly, unnecessarily RUDE! Upon checking in I was told that my reservation was canceled. Told that there was an attempt to call me regarding the cancellation. Absolutely not true. Then I was told that there was an attempt to charge my card to hold the reservation, told that it wouldn’t go through. Again, not true! Following that I provided my confirmation number ,as to start I provided my last name. Then I was told some other jargon about the room cancellation. Did I mention how incredibly rude the front desk staff was. I didn’t get her name, but she was a white woman wearing a burgundy shirt. She kept telling me to calm down but my voice was not elevated not one-time . Myself and my family went to a hotel next door and luckily they had a room. I then learned from a couple that the lady at the front desk had a lot to say, negative, when I walked away. The truth in the matter is the following: our room rate was $106.00 for the one night stay, the rooms at Sonesta were far more expensive for the same night, I booked a month in advance, when asked for a receipt showing the cancellation, a letter was provided citing that we cancelled, not true. To have traveled from out of town with a room reservation only later to learn that a nefarious act occurred on the strength of greed is unacceptable. I have a video of the second interaction with customer service staff, the gentleman with a black shirt, glasses, and piercings provided. I also have the letter/receipt. I do need to mention that it appears that room rates increased as a popular concert was in town.

I am very disappointed with how this issue was handled by both the property and Booking.com.

I had a reservation for five nights but had to leave one day early due to personal reasons. I informed the hotel staff one day before my departure, and they told me that was not a problem. At checkout, they specifically instructed me to contact Booking.com because the refund for the unused night would be processed through them.

I followed their instructions and contacted Booking.com. When Booking.com reached out to the hotel, the property claimed they could not approve the refund because I had not given enough notice. This was simply not true. I did notify the hotel one day in advance, and the staff accepted my early departure. My final invoice even showed a credit for the unused night, yet I never received the refund on the credit card I used for payment.

I was also very disappointed with Booking.com’s customer service. There was no way to get timely information by email. I had to spend a long time trying to reach customer support by phone and wait on hold before finally speaking with someone. After all that time, my issue was still not resolved. I expected Booking.com to advocate for its customers when there is clear evidence that the hotel provided conflicting information, but that did not happen.

To make matters worse, I emailed the hotel several times after my stay and never received a single response.

I have been a loyal Booking.com customer for years, and this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in both the property and Booking.com’s customer support. I expected much better service and a fair resolution, but unfortunately, I received neither. I hope Booking.com reviews this case and improves the way it handles situations like this in the future.

The a/c wasn't working in my room so the air didn't go past 80.. I was ridiculously hot! It was a stinky smell coming from the shower Drains. Also we didn't have any silverware to eat out food or pots and pans.. very unacceptable. The staff was attentive

Pool area wasn't kept clean..watermelon left on table next day..flip-flops..on 3rd day still saw hairband in bottom of pool. My granddaughter was at front desk along with another lady when the panel popped off barely missing her leg

Unfortunately we noticed a terrible smell coming from the dishwasher; however the staff cleaned it and the room immediately!
The room was a little outdated and a few broken things but you get what you pay for!

Everything was very clean but the floors in the rooms are never mopped, just swept. When we put a wet towel on it, we noticed how black it was. We ended up mopping your own room with a wet white towel since we were there for 1 week.
