Right Down the street from everything
Everything was Great NO complaints
We liked the large seating areas in the
Lobby and outside. The bistro was great for breakfast and snacks. The staff were all very helpful and friendly - some of the best we’ve had.
Very clean
A little further from downtown than we hoped and areas nearby have lots of traffic. But close to the river and parks . No pool to cool off in.
The location was good.
The room was not very satisfying. A very small bathroom counter for two people. The wall mounted TV could be turned very far toward the bed to view and the TV didn't work great. The room AC was very noisy.

There was no breakfast at this Marriott, there wasn't even coffee available unless you paid $5.00 for a cup. We had to go elsewhere to find a breakfast. I know I wouldn't stay at the Marriott anymore. There is absolutely no amenities whatsoever. The ladies greeting us at the desk were very indifferent about questions I had and had very little knowledge of where to eat and how to get there. I felt like I had stayed at a hotel that was in a ghost town, that couldn't even point you to a glass of water.
First of all, food. Normally breakfast is included in a stay at the Marriott, this time coffee wasn't available unless you paid for it. Your staff was ill-informed about where I could find a breakfast and even where I would park.

It was close to restaurants, grocery stores and the college. Good facilities, like a small gym and outdoor courtyard.
Walls are thin. I could hear my neighbors on both sides and the AC unit was loud when it wouldn’t kick on.

Difficult to find. I paid $210 extra dollars than if I had just called them. Worst booking experience I have had. Not even breakfast supplied
The layout of the lobby was nice
My bathroom wasn't as clean. Floor, toilet and shower had hair... I wiped it away. The fridge had spilt brown stuff in it.. I cleaned that too.
I booked a king room but received a room with 2 queen beds...
The hotel was very loud people were running down the hall yelling which isn't the fault of the hotel, but just to note it is right next to the college.
1st floor
Got a late check out and we still got disturbed before late check out.
Its okay. Parking shared with a Chick fil a so a liitle crowed at time in front of hotel. Ground, lobby, hallways kept clean. Check in was easy. Room was clean, you can tell its old but updated. Out TV didnt work but they sent someone up within 5 mins. He worked on it for about 10 mins but got it working, Bed was soft so we got a good night sleep before heading to airport at 5am. Decent place to stay for the right price.
Good location
The hotel is convenient for downtown appointments, but business travelers should be aware that this is not a property I can recommend. I’m an extensive traveler and a Marriott Lifetime Titanium member, and my recent stay raised several concerns.
I arrived late at night and had both called ahead and noted in my reservation that I needed a first floor room. Despite that, it took three different employees to attempt to accommodate the request during check in.
When checking out, I never received an emailed receipt. I called the hotel—still nothing. I had to call again before it was finally sent. The receipt itself was surprising, listing every minor detail, including items like tuna spread [companies don’t require or need granularity] and several outdated food products still in the pantry. It did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a Marriott property.
Also, had breakfast in the morning…UGH! Eggs were gross, way overcooked and the restaurant was not very well run.
Given these experiences, I’ll be choosing a different Marriott hotel for future trips to the area.
