An exceptional value for downtown San Francisco. Close to City Hall and the civic center.
Pros:

Location is perfect for music lovers: just steps to the symphony hall, the opera house and the Herbst Theater. Very quiet, too.

Cons:

Rooms are spacious enough for one person, but perhaps a bit of a squeeze for two.

We will be returning to this hotel.
Pros:

Location was perfect for attending an opera, symphony or theater. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean.

TOTALLY FINE FOR A NIGHT AT THE SYMPHONY

WE ORDERED BREAKFAST AND THEY GAVE OURS TO SOMEONE ELSE. SO WE ATE AN HOUR LATE BUT THEY COMPED US. WE HAD NO SCHEDULE SO IT WAS OK. BUT UNIMPRESSED

Very comfortable for a weekend stay and very close to many good restaurants.
Pros:

Love the location! Bed was very comfortable, but room was very small and there is no AC. Since we hit warm (upper 70s) weather in SF, room was too. But thankfully, the room had a ceiling fan and window that we could open.
