Pretty wrapper… sub par inside
Pros:

Size of the room.

Cons:

The bedding didn’t fit the bed, you would wake up sleeping on the mattress. The sheets folded off the doona all came off - to reveal a putrid dirty doona.

We also stayed at the property due to building works at our unit, only to cop non stop Jack hammering for majority of our stay. There was NO warning of this at time Of booking.

Convenient but will think twice again about booking this hotel
Pros:

The beds were lovely, view was terrible but easy to get to and stay

Cons:

So noisy the second night, up till 2am doors were opening and banged shut - it was a horrible experience. When I handed in my key, the attendant barely looked at me and couldn’t be bothered to ask about my stay or say goodbye - terrible customer service

Ordinary service. The place needs a lift. Painting on walls is well overdue
Pros:

Breakfast was cold and very dissapointing for what we paid for.
Beds and pillows not comfortable at all
Twice we put clean my room sign and no cleaning even after 3pm.
Sheets not changed.
Staff very friendly.
We ordered dinner, steak was delicious.
Vegetables came from frozen bag and were not fresh.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable and large. Great view

Cons:

Bins weren’t emptied in the room on arrival. Parking garage was very difficult to navigate, not enough parking spaces and hard to exit. Staff also did not respond to complaints about bins not being emptied. Buffet breakfast ‘hot’ food was cold and the breads somewhat stale.

Good hotel close to a Metro station
Pros:

Walking distance to The Mater Hospital

Cons:

The entrance is very hard to see the hotel and know where to go when walking in the driveway is a bit dangerous

Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff.
Pros:

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Good room service.

Cons:

Air conditioning control did not work well. We could not turn the temperature down.
There was constant noise from the bathroom exhaust riser that could be heard in both rooms.
The TV in the bedroom would repeatedly automatically log out from streaming service apps.
Room service online ordering only worked 1 out of 3 times (had to call twice to order)

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure great. The restaurant produces some lovely meals. Chose for its proximity to the metro line right around the corner.

Cons:

Being a small room with no windows there is no air flow and it gets warm quickly, however I felt too hot and suffocated by the lack of air flow and the a/c only goes down to 18c which being significantly warmer than outside didn’t help cool the room down. Might I suggest some fans?

Parking was ridiculously hard even with cameras helping guide me.

There are better options available
Pros:

Location was fabulous

Cons:

Air con in the room didn’t work, asked the staff if they could check it, nothing was done. It was so hot we were unable to sleep. Pillows also high and hard. Give Rydges a miss.
