Good value for money
Pros:

Convenient location, affordable but good quality of the place - it didn't look run down. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The aircon was at the perfect temperature all night. I also liked that the switches were right next to the bedside which was convenient.

Cons:

The fixtures especially the shower head needs updating. The spray was very strong on one spout and very light on others. The direction of the spray was also weirdly angled.

Good location and friendly staff. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

Cons:

Breakfast was a mess. Staff did not wear uniforms so you couldn’t tell who to talk to. There was no check-in do anyone could literally walk in and have breakfast which defeats the purpose of paying extra. The space allocated to breakfast was far too small and there weren’t enough staff. They could barely collect the dirty crockery before someone else sat down let alone wipe and clean the table. We are off a dirty table and dirty seats.
Need to also improved charging ports availability in the rooms.

Pros:

Quiet area in reasonable walking distance or driving distance to main attractions. Good selection at breakfast

Cons:

Swimming pool and changing rooms werent very clean. We used pool later in evening and were barely any towels left

It's jokingly a Rydges hotel
Pros:

The location was indeed convenient, with many attractions within walking distance and Manuka shops close by. The atrium was beautifully designed.

Cons:

The room is spacious yet very empty, with almost no furniture, and could use some serious renovations, as it's very dated - though housekeeping was nicely done. The AC and fridge were loud and somehow disturbing at night. Can hear children running in the hallway at night and neighbours slamming their doors very clearly from the bed.

You will flood the bathroom and the spare toilet paper easily while using the shower.

Breakfast was poor, with probably no more than 10 items. Maybe go to Manuka shops for more options.

We’ve been assigned an upgraded room (Room 127 Superior King), but the room is right next to the public toilet and extremely noisy with all the people speaking loudly outside my room at the corridors. I have to admit, I’m wondering if this is a joke or is this a prank from booking.com

Upon arrival, I found the room was completely unprepared for my stay and were missing desk light, standing lamp, luggage stand and coffee table. I checked with the front desk staff and they informed me that these items were distributed to other rooms and saying that the room was not completely set up.
