Requested an earlier check-in, but request was ignored. I received a check-in email, but told it was "generic," & room still not ready
Check-in we were handed a room key with no explanation of the hotel's facilities or amenities

Room was outdated, excessively hot for our entire stay, & the old air con was difficult to operate & didn't cool the room effectively. Ended up sleeping with the door open one night. It was approx -1.5°C outside

Toilet flush button that didn't work properly
Shower head sprayed water over the toilet & floor
Lifted carpet at the room entrance: Trip hazard
Refrigerator that felt hot. Food we had purchased spoiled because of it

Beds were uncomfortable
Pull-out couch was lumpy
After housekeeping: had to remake the bed
Only one small towel per person

Accessibility
The sink was positioned very high, making it difficult to use
Power points were on the floor and hard to access
One chair 2 sit on

Breakfast was included in our package:Poor experience
We weren't shown to a table
Many tables uncleared
Some food & condiments were difficult to reach
Condiments weren't labelled.
Pancakes were cold & stale despite fresh ones being cooked.

Breakfast 1st morning
Became unwell & spent hours in the room
I refused breakfast after this
My son became unwell after each breakfast

Indoor pool was cold & spa dirty
Last night the spa was closed due to chemical issues
Reception took a long time to respond
We had to ask what was wrong, as they ignored us
Another guest mentioned they had experienced similar issues & the spa had already been out of service for at least 2 days
Rubbish bags were left in the hallway for 2 days
Staff apologised when concerns were raised at check out
only resolution offered was to remove the breakfast charge??

There is potential, but it needs a LOT of work!

The breakfast variety was fone but the food suffered under the heat lamps

Noisy central heating

No concerns with my stay at all.

There were dust mites in the fold out bed which was probably the most awful thing I have ever slept on, I would have expected a newer one that was clean and actually had a mattress that you couldn’t feel the springs theough

The room had a folded up dirty towel on the bathroom bench. It had someone’s toothpaste spit on it. The rooms didn’t have temp Control of heating or cooling. The pillows had no fluff to them, they felt cheap. Could hear other doors banging loudly.

If it is busy and a lot of people are there you have a cold shower. We had two mornings of cold showers. When we called reception their explanation was it’s because they we have a lot of people having a shower at the same time? It’s a hotel that should be the norm? It was also winter time, ran the shower for 5 minutes and no steam.

Do not bother with a breakfast included package. Extremely limited breakfast choices with very poor cleanliness and presentation of food. Staff inattentive to clearing empty tables and keeping buffet area clean.

In room dining was good however, our tray sat for 12-14 hrs without being collected despite asking the staff.

The room was filthy, aircon and heating didn’t work, shower head was broken and water temp went after 1 min of showering, walls are paper thin and staff were slow to accommodate.

Noise, above and outside room. Screaming till late into night, kids running around corridors screaming.

Shower - sprayed water everywhere in bsthroom, over the screen, the water was luke warm. Occassionally would be hot but for like 20 secs.

Bed too soft, understand that can’t meet everyone’s preferences.

The only small fault i could pick was the room was a little noisy with noise from the hallway and surrounding room noticeable but not overly intrusive. Also had to be careful not to turn shower on to hard otherwise the water sprayed out of the shower reccess wetting the rest of the bathroom due to the small shower screen but this is only a minor issue
