Lovely
Pros:

A gorgeous historic hotel bang in the center of Amsterdam. Everything is walkable from here. Very convenient location 👌

Perfect location providing a great breakfast.
Pros:

Hotel location is perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a good choice.

Cons:

Room was dusty, bathroom tiles were cracked and shower was loose. The coffee machine was broken and lighting was dim.

Great location close to train and central to sites but service and amenities need attention to make it 3 star.
Pros:

Great location; appreciated the historical aspect of the hotel; lovely pool and good gym except for the loud music playing.

Cons:

Disappointing service, generally not responsive to requests. Had to ask three times to receive depleted room supplies on the first day of visit.
Very dim lighting so impossible to apply make up; also made it difficult for staff to see and therefore the room wasn’t very clean. In fact, the fridge which wasn’t really functioning was full of a heavy coating of mold in the back drainage area. Smelled awful so I investigated. Advised staff do either replace the fridge or do a deep clean. The sleek style was attractive but some colour, maybe some art would add a lift to the room decor. While I enjoyed the spa like music in the pool, the raucous loud music in the gym was awful. One other gym used was wearing noise cancelling ear phones, but those are not conducive the exercise.

Ideal Location Paired With Warm, Professional Service
Pros:

During our stay in May 26 for three nights, my friends and I were extremely pleased with both the hotel and its location. We travelled by train from the airport, and the hotel was only a short and easy walk from the station.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the concierge, who guided us to the check‑in area. The check‑in process was smooth, and I was provided with all the information I needed before heading to my room. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and very well set up.

I loved how close we were to the canals, entertainment precinct, and shopping areas. I was able to explore the surroundings easily on foot and by tram and felt safe. The concierge also assisted me in finding a reputable masseuse, which was extremely helpful.

On check‑out, Morena made the process quick and effortless.

I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent customer service and convenient location.
