I love Avenue of the Arts. Very classy place, as well as affordable
Nothing
The location and proximity to everything is great. Also the style and feel of this hotel gives it a very boutique feel.
The parking is kind of a hassle
Enjoyed our second stay at Avenue of the Arts even more than our first. Early check in for Bonvoy Titanium members accommodated at 1 PM. Wasn’t upgraded to a suite this time but the room at the end of the hall overlooking the lake was comfortable and quiet. We were also not bothered by housekeeping prior to our 3 PM late checkout. Happy hour in Silver Trumpet wasn’t extensive as there were no beer and wine specials and only half off house spirits, ie specialty cocktails excluded. Friendly bartender made up for it though. Enjoyed visiting the free Orange County Museum of Art right across the street from the hotel. Self parking at the hotel was convenient but quite sparse when returning to the property late at night. EV chargers are unfortunately paywalled in valet parking. Would be great if they added some to self parking as well. Pool and hot tub experience was marred by children’s horseplay. Complimentary breakfast at Silver Trumpet courtesy of Bonvoy status was excellent. The omelette and avocado toast were superb as was the service.
Beautiful hotel with wonderful and kind staff. Thank you for an amazing stay.
This was my first visit to the Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa. The service of the staff couldn’t have been greater. The shuttle service the property provides makes travel to nearby destinations a breeze. I was assured at check in/check out by Parker. He provided me with impeccable service and ensured that I was aware of all benefits of being a guest at the property.
This place is great. This is the second time we’ve stayed and we felt vey taken care of. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and a mini bar with space for your own drinks. Breakfast is good. They have a house car that can take you places locally. All the staff from the hotel and restaurant are warm and accommodating. Thanks for the nice stay guys…
I loved that there was a shuttle from the airport, that I was able to check-in early, the performing arts and massive shopping center was a short, pleasant walk away, the pool and hot tub, the stunning lobby and garden entrance, the excellent customer service from the Front Desk, the layout and interior design of the hotel room, and the hotel restaurant. My daughter and I had a delightful stay at the Avenue of the Arts
Very clean and comfortable
Price
My previous reviews of the hotel were on location (close to freeway, airport, across South Plaza Mall), good service and clean rooms.
This time my 5 year old granddaughter stayed with us for a day. I thought she would be bored at the hotel. She played the tic tac toe board at the lobby and did not want to leave. She walked/skipped around the lake and enjoyed watching the ducks doing somersaults.
Cool place
Terrible ac didn’t work
