The BEST Harbor View Hotel at a Convenient Victoria Location
Pros:

We stayed in Victoria for three nights AFTER a one-week Alaska cruise. WoW! What a treat that was to be in Victoria, B.C. before flying back home! The Victoria Regent is well located and within walking distance of other Victoria sites, the harbor, restaurants, and the famous Hotel Fairmount Empress, horse carriage ride, and the Hop-On, Hop -Off trolley. LOVED this hotel and the location!

Perfect hotel perfect view
Pros:

Excellent hotel for our base in Victoria. Large spacious rooms with full kitchens. Spotlessly clean. Staff friendly. Quiet at night. Hotel experience is 10/10, but most of all the views! Oh my goodness the views of the inner Harbour are stunning. So much to see all day, loved the seaplanes. The sunsets were incredible. I recommend this hotel in Victoria it's great.

Pros:

The room was great and the balcony view wonderful. We enjoyed watching the boats and seaplanes. We did take out or cooked most meals because we had a great view.

Cons:

Could not use the awning for shade. Understand why however we have one at our house

Unsurpassed Stay in Victoria
Pros:

We began and ended our 2+ week visit to Vancouver Island in Victoria. I tried to book the Victoria Regent for the start of the trip but it was sold out. We did book for the last few days and I am so very glad we did.
The property itself is beautiful -- not fancy, but clean, meticulously kept and smack on the water with excellent views of docks, a small park, an active drawbridge, and passing boats large and small. The large wall of windows provides excellent sound insulation and a close-up view.
We had a 1-br suite which, happy surprise, had a well-equipped kitchen. A coffee maker (and coffee) was provided, as were cups and glasses and plates and such. There was a refrigerator/freezer and even a dishwasher, which would be quite useful on longer stays.
The best thing about the hotel, though, at least to us, was its staff. Every person we met was friendly and helpful. Because of my error in planning our trip, I needed to book an additional night at this busy hotel and the staff did their magic to make it happen. Then, unexpectedly, my wife got ill and we had to leave a day early. Again, the front desk staff (and I mean ALL of them) expressed genuine sympathy for my wife and remained flexible as we sorted out our options. When we return - as we certainly will - I will feel not as though we are going back to a hotel but that we are going back to see friends.
Travelers should be aware that this hotel does not have a restaurant, but that seems to make little difference as it is right in the middle of a zillion Inner Harbor restaurants. There is parking in a secure garage below the hotel, but it's wise to let them know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a vehicle.

Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our trip with our toddler was smooth and enjoyable!
Pros:

Location was excellent. We had booked a two bedroom suite, however the front desk team upgraded us to their penthouse upon learning we were travelling with a toddler. It absolutely made our experience in Victoria, and was such a lovely surprise. The staff were helpful and efficient with all requests. We cannot wait to return!

Cons:

Nothing!

Tolle Suite, nettes Personal, aber häufiger Fluglärm
Pros:

Great location, right on the water
Pros:

Great location, walking distance to so many things in near downtown and the water. It was so easy to hop out and in whenever we wanted and you can't beat the access to so many good restaurants. Attached picture is like 30 secs outside of the hotel

Cons:

Despite being a non-smoking facility, the room smelled a lot like smoke. We just kept the window open and that helped, thankfully it was cool enough to do so.

Perfect location. Spotless and very clean. Staff was super helpful and put myself and family all on one floor without even asking....such amazing service. Also parking was great for extra large vehicles as we had a passenger van...made our visit so easy and comfortable.
