Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's located right in the center of town, which gives you great access to the city's nightlife and everything happening around you.

Cons:

Parking was also a significant issue. The hotel parking is paid and not always available, so there's no guarantee of a spot. Street parking nearby is also paid, charged by the hour, and payment is only through an app — which is a real problem if you don't have a German phone number, since it makes booking a spot nearly impossible. There's a slightly cheaper parking area nearby, but if there are any local events, it gets crowded and can be off-limits entirely. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel let down by a frustrating and unresolved parking situation.

Modernes, zentral gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

Modernes Hotel, zentral an der Fußgängerzone in Dortmund. Schöne saubere Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplätze stehen direkt am Hotel zur Verfügung. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer war bei den heißen Temperaturen leider ausgefallen. Das Hotel ist uns aber dann bei den Parkgebühren entgegengekommen.

Leider geht der Instandkaffee gar nicht. In allen anderen bekannten Mercure Häusern gibt's frischen Bohnenkaffee.
