Horrible, will not use this facility or Booking.com again.
Pros:

We got there on Memorial Day only to discover our room had been booked by them and Booking.com for the next night. No apologies from anyone until they were shamed for not helping us find other accommodation, so we had to drive 8 hours back home (after already being on the road for 8 hours!) in severe thunderstorms. Totally classless, not to mention they kept our money for the room.

Cons:

Absolutely everything! Horrible experience with no customer service. Once they get your money you are on your own.

Although the room was comfortable the inadequate facilities were a disappointment.
Pros:

The hotel is in a walkable neighborhood close to a variety of attractions and restaurants.

Cons:

The bathroom was a huge disappointment. The sink required holding the water on like in a public restroom and there was no stopper to fill the sink. I was unable to shave. There weren’t decaf coffee pods nor tea options.

Disappointing at best
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Parking lot is too small to maneuver if you have a large vehicle. Room was drafty and cold. I used to space heater that was in the closet. Restaurant noise does not end until after 10:30. Bathroom sink requires you to hold both the hot and cold knobs in the open position, so that water can run into the plugged sink, which is chipped and rusty. I was told this is all to reflect the Victorian era during which the building was built, but I really don't think the Victorians had anything to do with having to hold the knobs and therefore not be able to put your hands under running water. And the hot water knob was broken. I was theu received no report of this. (Umm, didn't i just say it?) The place is full of old tired looking furniture and chipped paint. I was told each room is furnished in the spirit of a different italian city. Nope, it's just tired old furniture from any average furniture store. The bed linens had a heavy scent on them, which made it difficult to sleep, and made me itchy. I was told they understand that their hotel isn't for everyone, but i think most people do expect to sleep when they get a room. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The bartender didn't say thank you when I tipped her. Next time i'll skip the "charm" and spend a little extra on a professionally manged hotel.

Nice place, but will stay there again. They need a little more attention to detail in the room/bathroom setup. Very
Pros:

Comfortable bed and linens. Large room. Free parking

Cons:

The noise from the bar. Our first night it was very loud. Bar was open past closing. The music was playing (restaurant below our room) until 11pm. Next morning told the hostess. She said she would see that the music was turned off at 10pm. That night the music was playing past 1am. No one around to ask to turn it off. The bathroom mirror is 5+’ above the floor. Mirrors in the bedroom had poor lighting. No dresser to put clothes in and a very small closet

A gem for a getaway weekend
Pros:

Beautiful and unique place to stay. We felt special having our own "sitting room" and a poster bed. Also, this inn was walking distance from almost everything we wanted to do in this part of Pittsburgh.

Go for the restaurant but not to stay.
Pros:

Good location with quick access to many sights in Pittsburgh. Free parking. Friendly staff. Room was spacious, clean and had good storage space.

Cons:

There was no designated hotel staff person, so when we encountered problems in the room, we had to track down one of the wait staff. The room was dark and smelled bad. Our TV remote wasn’t working, then the shower drain completely backed up. There were no electrical outlets available on one side of the bed. Not well sound proofed, so we could hear traffic and street noise even though our room was way in back. It seems their priorities are the attached restaurant and cigar lounge.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether you’re a couple or a single person you will have a great time
Pros:

It’s a family owned boutique hotel with the restaurant and bar on premises. There are different rooms and they are named after different cities in Italy. They are all unique and beautiful. I had a great time. Excellent food. Excellent waiter, waitresses.

Beautiful hotel, but I don’t think I would stay there again
Pros:

The hotel is lovely and it is beautifully decorated. I love the original features of the building such as the enamel sink bowl and the cast iron claw foot tub. I also really enjoyed the neighborhood.

Cons:

There is no front desk, and no obvious means of getting help or reporting a problem. There was music playing from the restaurant kitchen right under my room all night long, which made sleep difficult, but there was no one around to ask to turn it off. I also found the mattress to be uncomfortably hard.
