Beautifully decorated historic home in a wonderful location. No elevator.
Pros:

The ambiance of the 1800's home. The bedroom was huge! the furnishings made you feel like you were in the past. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Fireplace was beautiful.

Cons:

1. The stairs! We are in our late 60's and lugging suitcases up those stairs to the Florence room was hard. The carpet didn't seem to completely hug the stairs and seemed a bit of a trip hazard. 2. The clawfoot tub. It was beautiful and historic, but completely dangerous for someone like us to get in and out of! Too high! I chose not to bathe due to this. 3. You probably wouldn't have any way to know it, but when we went to our room there were guitars, bags and other musical instruments all over the landing and blocking our door. 4. The decor was elegant, but our room didn't have a table to sit at and drink a cup of coffee. (also - the bathroom door needs a spray of WD-40)

Perfect location and charming hotel…
Pros:

The location was fantastic! The room was very clean and spacious! Very charming and loved the apartment feel. Interesting to go through main entrance down a hallway back outside through courtyard to room. I found it really cool! Staff was AMAZING! Bathroom heater was really nice.

Cons:

I wasn’t prepared for the very steep steps up to room. Would be an issue if you’ve had knee issues, older, crutches, etc. I did not like that the coffee maker was not cleaned and new disposable cups were not added. No hooks by the tub/shower to hang your towel.

Loved the room. Would love to stay again.
Pros:

Loved that there was parking and did not have to park on western. The bed was super comfortable. Don't always get a comfy bed at a hotel. Was only there one night, so I didn't get to experience the place but it was a great night. The keypad to my room was not working. Whoever was working the other end of the phone when I texted was very quick to respond and reset the keypad.

Cons:

A spray bottle of cleaner was left in the bathroom. Otherwise, no issues.

Beautiful, relaxing, and a great value.
Pros:

I am very happy with the location and value of this hotel. We love the look of the building and our room was beautiful and so relaxing. We are sad that we didn't have time to eat dinner at the restaurant or check out the cigar lounge. We will definitely be back.

Cons:

I can't really think of anything we didn't like. This is one of our favorite places that we have stayed.

Nice neighborhood stay in Pittsburgh - would stay again!
Pros:

Located in a neighborhood with restaurants, bars, and breakfast areas that are very close (Thai, Italian, Cheese Steaks, Breakfast, etc). Close to the football stadium and the free parking was adjacent to the property. Room was huge (actually two rooms) with a queen and a king bed, sofa, tv, private bath, refrigerator and microwave. Quiet after 10:00.

Cons:

Mattress was decent, but a little too soft. More plugs, in the room I had there were few options. Found check in a little confusing as there was no staff when we arrived (just prior to 3:00), however, I did have emails that detailed everything, I just did not know and did not view them prior to arrival.

with my stay, I would stay there again as I now have a better idea what and how to procedure.
Pros:

Breakfast was not an option during our stay.
It appeared that the dining room was only opened for dinner.

Cons:

More info such as a sign as to where exactly to park on site.

Everything! Location was perfect, free parking wad essential, price was amazing compared to hotels I had looked into, Sardinia room was so cute, cozy, comfortable, clean which I could walk around barefoot and I NEVER do that in a hotel. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this boutique hotel.

I can't think of anything i didn't like.

Sehr außergewöhnliches Hotel.
Pros:

Das Hotel an sich ist in einem historischen Gebäude untergebracht, das an sich schon sehenswert ist. Wir hatten die Wohnung ganz oben im Dachgeschoss. Diese ist sehr groß und wunderschön gestaltet.

Cons:

Leider gibt es keinen Aufzug und keine Klimaanlage. Die aufgestellten Kühlgeräte verschafften bei großer Hitze kaum Abkühlung.
