Such a great staycation option for our family.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, clean, and homey. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern (loved the products also), and we loved the view from our little balcony. Staff were lovely and very helpful, loved that I could walk downstairs and get a coffee from the Cafe, and the kids loved that they could have a swim right after their buffet breakfast. Great variety at breakfast and the kids loved the pancake machine :)

Cons:

Service at breakfast was a little slow; had to ask a few times for self serve coffee machine to be refilled. Otherwise our stay was great.

It was enjoyable with friendly staff.
Pros:

Staff were well mannered and very attentive. Special mention to Dee - Manager. Although paid for upgrade, the view was worth it. Location to the GleNTi festival was great and walking distance to the CBD was good

Cons:

No Wi-Fi. Hot water took more than 5 minutes to come, which was very annoying. Dee tried to make up for it by providing some drinks vouchers - for which we were very appreciative. For a very good hotel, we did not appreciate only having single ply toilet paper.

A good hotel for travellers beginning and ending excursions out of Darwin- friendly cheerful and fun
Pros:

A good hotel for beginning and ending excursions out of Darwin. Good location near CBD and beautiful esplanade walks. Good pool and convenient casual cheerful poolside restaurant and bar

Cons:

More casual options for lunch on restaurant menu for when you are staying longer than one night. No luggage racks in rooms and need more comfortable accessible seating around pool on the grass instead of only having very low poolside lounges.

Modern and comfortable in great location.
Pros:

The Garden Inn is an old hotel which has been well renovated. Rooms are modern with nice decor and good views. Location on the waterfront is great. A little out of the centre but still walking distance. Would stay again.

Great hotel
Pros:

We stayed 5 nights in May 2026 and had great time - spacious room (3 adults with 3 large luggages fit no issue), amazing harbour view from balcony, tasty breakfast and great location
Staff extremely friendly and helpful

Cons:

Small pool is only thing that comes to mind, we loved everything else!
