Great location, with excellent staff always willing to share local knowledge of the area!
Pros:

Staff are always AMAZING and helpful! The location is a perfect home base for traveling around the area - Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, SF, dining in Sebastopol, etc are all reachable by car, or transit.

Summer activities planned by the city are available throughout the week, right outside at the town square! Coffee is excellent and local. Enology, their wine bas has a great selection of nibbles for an afternoon snack or drinks before or after dinner!

Cons:

Breakfast could be improved, but it's not a deal breaker. There are numerous options for cafes within walking distance should you want more to start your day on.

It was/is a fantastic hotel!! Staff, especially the young man at night were fantastic!! Warm, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and very welcoming!! Easy check in! The place is immaculately clean and comfortable, great location right in downtown Santa Rosa! We were on a two week road trip & stayed in six hotels and the Hotel E was far & away the best one we stayed in! Had my best nights sleep in the Hotel E! We will definitely be coming back!! Oh and the coffee is outstanding!!! So few hotels coffee are!!

Genuine 5 star customer service. Excellent location.
Pros:

It’s in an excellent location. It was great to be able to pop downstairs and go straight to the farmers market and family movie night. Customer service was excellent.

We love the location of the hotel and the staff were extremely kind and had a nice recommendation for dinner, but we thoroughly enjoyed . The room was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The room on the fourth floor number 407 overlooked the rooftop of the restaurant right next-door at night time the exhaust hood and the refrigeration equipment was making a loud humming noise or mechanical noise which kept me awake. It wasn’t until 3 AM that the fan finally turned off and I was able to go to sleep. Looking out the window and seeing the dirty roof top was not good.

Great location and comfort, but basic breakfast
Pros:

A great hotel with a prime location. The room was pristine, featuring an exceptionally comfortable mattress and high-quality pillows that made for a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly. The location is unbeatable - perfect for stepping right out the door to explore the downtown area on foot

Cons:

The breakfast selection was very minimal, offering only a few bagels and basic cereals.

We came on the night of the street fair and we were totally confused with the street being blocked off. Finally had to call for some directions. Our room was really small. Kind of hard for two adults to navigate around each other.
