Service was an issue for us
Pros:

Location great and staff were very friendly. Room was good and like being able to sit out on our balcony. We were looking out onto the road which we didn't mind as you could watch the world go by. Even though we faced the road it was very quitet.

Cons:

Our only negative was the service. We had a group of 9 and most of us had to either chase up room service or received the wrong orders. One lunch time we waited well over an hour for a bowl of chips, and we had ordered them down at the bar. We also waited nearly 1.5 hours for drinks on a Saturday night. I think the problem is that because locals can come in and eat and drink, they were just really understaffed. We received wrong orders and some didn't even get their orders. Would not stay here again for that reason.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Reception was very helpful. Great view of the harbour. Room nicely designed.

Cons:

The service for lunch and dinner was very slow and the food was ordinary. It got better when we went to other venues. Room: only one lounge chair to sit on. Bathroom was crowded.

Clean, comfortable, would stay there again but would also like to try other options.
Pros:

Rooms are big and well appointed. Clean and seem fairly newly renovated.

Cons:

Staff were slow to address requests - i had to ask multiple times for milk to be replaced. The fridge didnt really keep anything cold.

I would definitely stay here again. Above is just a feedback .
Pros:

Clean and quiet rooms, facilities were really nice, staff were very pleasant and friendly

Cons:

I found the foyers very crowded with locals and difficult to find parking. It sort of inconveiences people staying at the hotel because most areas in foyers and around pool areas were always full.

Pros:

The reception and check in was wonderful and the porters and security staff very helpful. The restaurant staff were very helpful and looked after us very well. It was my mothers 90th birthday which I had stated when booking and at check in, but it appears this was not communicated to the restaurant staff who normally would come and sing a birthday song - communication has broken down perhaps.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the rooms I booked all had issues - no glasses in one room. Two bath mats and no hand towel in one and one had a dead bug in the shower. This was the first time I noticed such issues at Holiday Inn. I had suggested to family members to stay at HI, however my son and his fiance orderded just 1 can of coke and 1 beer - waited 30 mins then reminded the person who served them who said "Oh I forgot" then they waited another 20 mins. In the end, they cancelled the order and left. It appeared that most of the Bar staff were interested in making the local guest who perhaps frequent the bar happier than their care of hotel guests. The speed in which the staff walked around had slowed down significantly form last visit - whislt they were happy to bring things to the room if requested, they seemed to be disconnected.

Best breakfast and service.
Pros:

Went down to holiday inn for a quick breaky with my sister , just as we entered the services was top tier 100% on point . Would highly recommend going again , and plus we had reservations only for breakfast we were not guests at all in the hotel but we were treated with the best services from the breakfast Team ❤️ thank you To Savu and Micheal for the best experience at Holiday Inn .. Vinaduriki 🤝

Weekend to remember
Pros:

The experience in holiday inn was nothing more than exceptional, with a calm efficiency on how service was provided to the warm welcome of the staff.
Was very much pleased with Jesica from finance who was respectful and eager to help with purchasing situations.

Recommended stay for both locals and those visiting abroad.

Would love to visit again in the near future.
