Pros:

Gostamos do atendimento da colaboradora Larissa por ocasião dos cafés da manhã e da equipe de recepção durante o recebimento, acolhimento e checkout.

It was a fair hotel. Probably one of the best around at this price.
Pros:

- the vue even though the windows were extremely dirty
- great position on copacabana
- good breakfast

Cons:

- slow elevators
- not very clean mold in the bathroom
- not well isolated / soundproof
- very high humidity in the room / could be better

Formidable!
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé et confortable. Le personnel est sympathique et attentionné. Belle terrasse sur le toit avec vue magnifique. La section plage de l'hôtel est un gros plus et le service de Isaias a été extraordinaire toute la semaine. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Demasiado caro para lo que es
Pros:

La habitación es cómoda. Buena presión de agua en la ducha. El desayuno es rico y la vista desde el restaurante es muy bonita. Destaco la atención de Alex, uno de los botones.

Cons:

La limpieza puede ser mejor. Por ejemplo, las tazas y cucharas que había en la habitación estaban sucias. Los tapetes se ven muy trajinados y manchados. La piscina no debería llamarse piscina de lo pequeña que es. El día del check-out entró a la habitación una persona a revisar el mini-bar dos horas antes de que nos tocara entregar la habitación. En realidad, es un hotel demasiado caro para lo que es y lo que ofrece. Por el precio que pagamos, pensé que íbamos a otro tipo de hotel, pero este se siente como un hotel de 3 estrellas con precio de 5, estrellas. Aparte, la zona de Copacabana es demasiado ruidosa. Si buscas más descanso, es mejor que te quedes en otras zonas de Río y definitivamente en otro hotel. Yo no volvería al Portobay.

Great option for your vacation in Rio!
Pros:

The room, the location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional. Very decent gym! The staff was always helpful, great team. They made the stay very welcoming.

Cons:

Would love espresso coffee during breakfast and more equipment in the gym, but otherwise, everything was great!

Pros:

Loved everything about our stay at PortoBay. The staff are wonderful, the hotel is clean, comfortable & modern. I’m pedantic about cleanliness levels of hotels and they did amazing, upon arrival the room is clean (not just straightened up, they actually scrub their rooms) and they make the room up every day as though you have just checked in!
Magnificent views from the gym & roof top pool.
We were so comfortable & relaxed here we slept in every day haha. Will definitely be back! Great value for money, especially in Copacabana! Thank-you PortoBay Rio!

Cons:

Elevators are a bit slow, we didn’t care (we were never in a rush haha) but other guests were complaining as we waited with them!

Pros:

La posizione era ottima, e la terrazza con piscina offriva una vista meravigliosa.

Cons:

L’hotel non soddisfa nemmeno il requisito minimo: essere un luogo dove potersi riposare.

La camera è sporca e il cattivo odore è diffuso in diverse aree dell’hotel. Ho anche sentito lamentele simili da parte di altri ospiti.

La camera è rumorosa: anche all’11° piano si sente il traffico proveniente dalla strada. Durante il giorno ci sono lavori in corso e, inoltre, si possono sentire chiaramente le coppie nelle camere vicine durante i loro momenti di intimità.

La colazione è di qualità discutibile; le uniche cose apprezzabili erano la frutta e il caffè filtrato.

La sauna era praticamente solo di facciata: pur essendo una sauna secca, non raggiungeva la temperatura minima adeguata e non disponeva nemmeno di appositi supporti o spazi dove appoggiare gli asciugamani o gli indumenti da bagno all’interno della sauna
