The rooms were excellent. Good decor and very clean. Good extras, coffee machine, biscuits, canned water, milk etc. 2 robes provided in my single occupancy room but none in my 2 daughters room but not an issue as I gave them mine. Overall impressed with the accommodation.
Most staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was very poor. We stayed 2 nights and first morning there was no hot buffet food for full English available, due to supplier not delivering on time. Manager was rude to me saying I hadn't booked a table when I definitely had booked the day before at the reception desk - it wasn't showing on the system. Next morning breakfast was fully available although the quality of the full English was poor.
Meal in The Forge was very expensive and the menu very limited.
I was informed that if I parked in Pepper Lane car park the hotel had a deal to £12pd instead of £20pd. On leaving the car park I entered the paid ticket provided by reception and it didn't work so was left blocking the exit. I fortunately had the entry ticket with me and used this to pay £40 and exit. Reception did however refund this.
Clean, Modern and well presented. Staff professional and polite
Rooms well equipped and a comfy bed. Great location fir city centre
There is no parking. 8 min walk to recommended car parks and between £12 and £16 for 24 hrs - ery busy on a Saturday afternoon so had to wait for spaces
Great location to local amenities short 5 minute walk into the city centre. Comfortable night sleep and big spacious bed.
Cleanliness of room. Dust around the room visibly and physically. Make up left on mirror by previous occupants which hadn’t been cleaned up. Addressed with staff however only got acknowledged when checking out. That’s all that let down the stay.
the room was spacious and clean on arrival, the bed very comfortable location excellen, breakfast was good and staff lovely.
I have stayed with you before and in your other hotels- the hotel is very comfortable and nice- I only have one peice of constructive feedback- On saturday night I got back late to my hotel room around 10pm and the england match was on - I was a bit peckish and called down to order just some bread and was told room service had stopped and they couldnt meet this request.. For the cost of the rooms I think it would be good customer service to try to mee the simple requests ( understand no cooked food ) but surely a bread basket was manageable?
Super hotel, very clean, excellent staff friendliness and breakfast very good.
The location was excellent! 5-10 minute to the centre for shops, bars & restaurants.
The room we had was the Tudor theme and it felt really cosy. The air conditioning was a real blessing after being out in the sun all day.
The bed was one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in.
We had a couple of cocktails at the bar which were very nice & the bar area had a nice social but relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was great with plenty of options to choose from.
The only and very minor issue we notified was the extraction fan didn’t work in our bathroom but really not an issue.
Everything
Nothing
Staff were amazing, room was beautiful and cool during heat wave
The way breakfast is served has changed from ordering a cook breakfast to self serve which isnt usually an issue however I feel the quality of the sausage and bacon is not as good. Plenty of other choice. I did find sitting opposite a fridge containing large cuts of meat quite off putting during breakfast, perhaps this is just me but I wanst comfortable
The hotel is conveniently located about half way between the centre and the railway station meaning it is nice and easy to get to while being nearby the main sights and places to eat/shop.
The room was good and comfortable with everything we wanted.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options - both continental and cooked.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - such as for keeping backs for a while after checkout.
I would definitely consider staying here again if in Chester.
I didn't have any issues or problems that are worth mentioning.
Excellent breakfast ,
Great location to explore beautiful Chester. Loved being so close to the park and river.
Exceptional weather, but A/C could have been more efficient.
Loved the decor , how clean it was and the breakfast was lovely
Clean, stylish and staff super polite and friendly
