Pros:

Excellent location, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, the hotel was very clean, lovely lounge area to have an evening drink.

Cons:

Disappointing breakfast, cooked breakfast cold. Hash browns rock hard. Tea/ coffee not very hot.
The hotel is of such a high spec however this is what lowered the rating on this review.

Pros:

Friendly, attentive and accommodating reception staff. Great shower comfy beds.

Cons:

The self serve breakfast wasnt great. Tasteless, over done eggs, sloppy scrambled eggs.

REALLY EXCELLENT HOTEL
Pros:

Stayed recently overnight and impressed how nice this hotel is
Decor throughout is stylish and modern

A masterclass in hotel check in and check out
Faultless- helpful and informative
Recognised as a IHG member and welcomed too the hotel

All staff are polite and friendly

Lovely room- excellent air conditioning and great amenities throughout
Soundproofing is 💯 never heard a thing

Breakfast just satisfactory maybe due to most of the hot item's being a bit worse for wear- as in not as fresh as they could be- the pastries unfortunately rock hard??

However that aside a really excellent hotel- will absolutely return and happily recommend

Great hotel
Pros:

I booked the hotel for a weekend away for a group of 21 people from 22nd to 25th May 2026. The management were easy to deal with and very accommodating.
We found the rooms to be clean with good quality linen and all facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast and evening meals were plentiful with a good variety of foods.
The hotel is also in a good central location
I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Great location for an overnight visit to Chester. Close to the centre.
Pros:

It was record breaking heat but the Hotel Climate control handled it perfectly. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well laid-out and spotless.

Cons:

Not sure where the error crept in - but we thought there was parking and breakfast included with our booking. A discount arrangement with a nearby multi-story car park (10 mins walk) worked well though (£12 for 24 hrs) and we had breakfast in the cafe in the park just 50 Metres away.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Location fantastic, hotel is gorgeous and staff super friendly and helpful, communication was excellent even when o booked they rang me to confirm it and advised on parking and dropping bags off etc ,will definitely return customer service was excellent 👌

Good location for the centre of town with comfy beds but expensive for an average stay.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were ok, as you would expect but not great. Bed was comfy and pillows good. Enjoyed the location of the room as it was nice and quiet.

Cons:

No parking convenient for hotel, no sugar for hot drink in room, no small packet of biscuits either and only one tea bag. Had to ask reception to top up room straight away. Also, you have to ask for bathrobe and slippers, as this wasn't a standard , maybe a cost cutting exercise and when delivered one of the sash ties were hanging by a thread in the middle. Also one of the toiletry containers (hand / body lotion) was empty on arrival. Breakfast was good and average. The good was the quality of cutlery and crockery and the average was the quality of food. No fried eggs available and no muffins left and sorry, no we don't have any more.
