This is a very beautiful and newly restored hotel. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The pool area was stunning and was very welcome after a long drive. The free items in the mini bar was a nice touch.
It was a shame breakfast wasn’t included given the price but otherwise wonderful.
Frühstück war zwar mit viel Auswahl, aber vieles wie Obst und Fleisch war nicht frisch.
The hotel is undergoing repairs. Take it into account when you book it. Otherwise, all is perfect!

Buffet d'excellente qualité, pkg dispo à l'arrivée.

The rooms are a bit smaller than photos show and some had very low slanted beams/angles. Most views were of other buildings. Staff was very disorganized and often not so helpful. However, the staff who greeted us and took our bags up to room were lovely and everyone was friendly. The pool was a surprising perk as the weather was hot! The location is excellent!
The location, with access to the metro and ferries, made it very easy to explore historic Lausanne, try out restaurants, find gardens, and stroll along the lake. We upgraded to a junior suite since my traveling companion was having to work some during our trip. That worked out very well providing plenty of space to set up her workspace. It also gave a balcony with a lovely view overlooking Lake Geneva. Breakfast was found by wandering the streets and settling in to little cafes for pasteries and wonderful cappuccinos, and of course, people watching.
Wonderful place to stay in Lausanne. We really enjoyed our stay.
Staff was very helpful on things to do, places to eat
We reserved a Superior room with a lake view and had a wonderful view of Lake Geneva and the snow capped mountains. There was a nice outdoor area with a few tables which we used to have wine and snacks in the evenings with our friends.
Very convenient location to restaurants, ferries and M2 transit. The hotel was very prompt in sending us Lausanne Cards for our local transportation.
Room was modern, clean and very spacious by European standards. The walls were thick so we never heard our neighbors. The building our room was in had an elevator but we had to walk up a couple flights of stairs to get from the lobby to the building where our room was.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect Swiss hospitality, gorgeous property, prime location. We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel, we wished we could stay longer!
The Angleterre is excellent from the minute you step foot into the hotel to the minute you leave. We were able to relax tremendously. The rooms are super clean, very stylish. The beds are very comfortable. And the windows keep the city noise out. The staff is top notch. Very helpful, very kind, caring and friendly, one can tell that the best hospitality school is in Lausanne and that the Angleterre has very skilled employees. We will be back, thank you for your hospitality
