Perfect find in the middle of the forest.
Pros:

This is a fantastic little hotel. We needed a place not far from the motorway for an overnight stop on our way back from Croatia. We also thought we could scout it out to see if it would be a good base for Koblenz, which is not far away. It passes on both counts. The breakfast is outstanding for €15 per head. The restaurant closes at 8:30pm, but if they know you are coming they will stay open. The food is also excellent. The staff were very engaging & worked hard to make everything easy. It also looks ideal for families with young kids and folk who like the great outdoors, with plenty of wildlife and walks in the area.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike. It was brilliant.

Pros:

Ein sehr guter Ort, um sich vom Stadttrubel zu erholen. Perfekt, um auszuschlafen. Viele Wander- und Fahrradrouten beginnen direkt hier.
Der Parkplatz ist öffentlich, kostenlos und bietet viele Stellplätze. In der Nähe befinden sich noch ein Hotel. Eine wunderschöne Terasse zum Frühstücken oder Abendessen im Freien.

Cons:

Manchmal riecht es etwas unangenehm nach Tieren. Mich hat das nicht gestört, meinem Partner hat es allerdings nicht so gut gefallen.

Pros:

Locatie in het bos met de dieren heel mooi.
Prima kamer met goed bed. Heerlijk eten en gezellig terras. Leuke wandeling door het bos vanuit het hotel. Goed bereikbaar, maar 10 min. van de A61 bij Koblenz, heel goede stop op weg naar de Alpenlanden.

Cons:

Parkeren in het drukke weekeinde is een dingetje. Geen noodplan op de kamerdeur en geen brandsensors op de kamer.

De rest van het terrein sluit niet heel erg aan bij het hotel. Het eten was prima, niet bijzonder. Veel oude gasten. De bedden waren relatief hard en krakerig

Pros:

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und empfehlenswert. Das Forsthaus liegt sehr schön, das Essen (Wild)im Restaurant war klasse und wir haben gut geschlafen. Besonders gut hat uns das Personal gefallen, das trotz vieler Gäste und der damit verbundenen Arbeit, immer freundlich war.

Ideaal voor ons.
Pros:

Het was voor ons ideaal. De honden mogen mee en ze kunnen uitgelaten worden direct vanaf de hotelkamer. Onze kamer was ook in een bijgebouw waardoor het erg rustig was, ondanks dat het een zeer populair gebied is voor mensen uit de stad om hun weekenden door te brengen.
De kamer was supergroot. Ooit een appartement met een (of twee?) erg kleine slaapkamer(s) maar nu staat het bed als het ware midden in de huiskamer waardoor het meer een kolossale hotelkamer geworden is.
Er is een heerlijk balkon buiten.
Avondeten is lekker. Ontbijt wordt aan tafel geserveerd. Ondanks dat dit "ouderwets" aanvoelt is het eigenlijk wel weer modern in tijden waarin we verspilling willen tegen gaan. Bovendien is het elke dag anders, wordt er veel zorg aan besteed en kun je bestellen wat je hebben wil. In tegenstelling tot wat anderen zeggen staat er nu een bord waarop staat wat je kunt bestellen. Er wordt dus denk ik ook goed geluisterd naar reviews. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Cons:

Omdat dit dus een appartement was waar een bed in de huiskamer is gezet is er nu geen "huiskamer" meer. Dat is niet erg maar een zitje hebben wij wel erg gemist. Wij zouden aanraden om toch een klein zitje te creëren. Desnoods door de prachtige grote planten buiten te zetten (en in de winter op te slaan) en/of het bed zoveel mogelijk naar achter te verplaatsen. Nu moet je half liggend op bed tv kijken of lezen, etc terwijl dit geen doorreis hotel is maar een hotel waar je over het algemeen toch langer verblijft.
Een andere tip is: in de hal is een lamp die aan gaat bij beweging. Elke keer als er 's nachts iemand naar de wc moet. Of als de hond er langs loopt. Dat is niet prettig nu het appartement een slaapkamer geworden is. Die lamp zou je uit moeten kunnen schakelen. Wij hebben plastic zakken over de sensor geplakt en nog bleef hij werken. Dus onze tip is om die sensor weg te halen.

Pros:

Sehr schöne, gemütliche, sehr ruhige und komfortable Suite im Landhausstil, in herrlicher Umgebung.Allein durch die Lage direkt am Wald und Tierpark fühlt man sich sofort geerdet.

Restaurant im Forsthaus war durchgehend geöffnet und urgemütlich, der Service sehr freundlich, die Speisen (Wildschweinbraten, Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, Paprikaschnitzel ) sehr lecker.

Pros:

Mooie ligging bij bos en wandelpaden.

Cons:

De ontvangst viel aanvankelijk erg tegen, omdat er bij aankomst om 18.30 u niemand in het hotel was en ondanks afspraken vooraf het restaurant gesloten was. De geweldig hartelijke onttvanngst later door de beheerder en zijn vrouw hebben dat helemaal goed gemaakt.

Enjoyable lodge in a restful location with a great restaurant, comfortable rooms, and hiking.
Pros:

This lovely hunting lodge is in a nature park with lots of hiking trails, places to rest and watch. Down a small road leads you to their parking next to the lodge. The restaurant has a variety of food especially wild game for lunch or dinner. Breakfast included eggs or meat from the kitchen as well as standard European fair. The beds were great and bathroom excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is just outside of Koblenz between the Mosel and Rhein rivers.

Schlechte Preis-/Leistung im Hotel mit Renovierungsstau.
Pros:

Gute, ruhige Lage im Wald.

Cons:

Renovierungsstau. Zimmer abgewohnt. Fenster undicht. Frühstück sehr wenig Auswahl. Personal unaufmerksam. Abendessen sehr teuer. Abends keine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit nach Schließung des Restaurants um 21 Uhr. Preis/Leistung schlecht. Besser in der Stadt übernachten und mit dem Bus hoch fahren.
