Good value hotel

Sehr erholsam und gut
Pros:

Zentral gelegen, mit dem Bus/S-Bahn gut zu erreichen.
Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es wurde sogar glutenfrei angeboten. Dankeschön nochmals dafür. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

War ok, kleine Einbussen

Modern eingerichtet, gute Preise, Lage ok.

Cons:

Wir hatten einen Hund dabei, natürlich gegen Aufpreis. Haben Frühstück nachgebucht, nur wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass der Hund nicht in den Frühstücksraum darf. Also wurden wir im Barbereich platziert. Finde ich inkonsequent, Hunde gegen nicht zu knappen Aufpreis akzeptiert, aber im Frühstücksbereich weit weg vom Buffet ist man nicht willkommen.

Schöner Kurztrip, würde das Hotel wieder buchen.
Pros:

Ich habe kein Frühstück dazugebucht. Fand ich für 18 Euro ziemlich teuer. Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sehr modern und schön eingerichtet.

Cons:

Leider kein Kühlschrank für Getränke auf dem Zimmer. Kein Wasserkocher; hätte mir gerne morgens einen Kaffee auf dem Zimmer gemacht.

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Wir haben ohne Erwartungen zwei Übernachtungen gebucht, da wir auf den Preis geachtet haben.
Aber wir waren total zufrieden, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Das Frühstück haben wir im Hotel dazu gebucht und wir fanden es sehr gut.
Da unser Sohn in Bochum wohnt, kommen wir wieder und haben jetzt eine gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gefunden.

Kein WLAN ohne Mitgliedschaft und ungerechtfertigte Nachhaltigkeitszertifizierung
Pros:

Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber.

Cons:

Man wird leider sehr penetrant in das Marriott Bonvoy Programm gedrängt. Es gibt kein WLAN ohne Mitgliedschaft und wenn man vor 15 Uhr ankommt, wird automatisch angenommen, dass man Mitglied werden möchte, damit man vorab einchecken kann.
Die Nachhaltigkeitszertifizierung ist leider vollkommen ungerechtfertigt, wenn einem im Zimmer Wasser in Kartons?! angeboten wird, was ja wirklich die am wenigsten recycelbare Verpackung ist, die man sich für Wasser vorstellen kann. Ich konnte auch sonst wenig Ressourcen entdecken, die nachhaltig bezogen werden oder Hinweise auf trinkbares Leitungswasser, o.Ä.
Leider ging der Fernseher schlecht: bei jedem Umschalten hat er wieder eine halbe Minute bis Minute das Programm gesucht. Die Betten waren eher hart.
Natürlich stören diese Dinge nicht jeden. Insgesamt betrachtet haben sie die Qualität meines Aufenthalts jedoch geschmälert.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel für Bochum-Zentrum
Pros:

Zimmer ausreichend groß und in gutem Zustand, Klimaanlage sehr leise, keine Fremdgeräusche

Cons:

Matratze war für uns zu weich, kein Vending
