Never ever again.
Pros:

Staff were friendly, location is very good.

Cons:

The place is a hole. It’s completely filthy and looks like a crack den. Walked into a horrific basement room which had an empty carton of milk sat on the side, it’s on the same level as a dirty hostel. Woke up to ants crawling in the beds and the shared bathroom is nasty.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and accommodating.
We were able to check in early which was very much appreciated and leave our luggage on the day of departure whilst we explored London a bit more.

Cons:

The hotel is in need of a full revamp. We changed rooms because the bathroom door didn't close in the first one we were given.
Has to ask for basics like toilet rolls and towels.

It was 30C+ the night of my stay and they had the radiator on. My partner and I were cooking literally all night. Awful

For £186 for one night the facilities were terrible I’ve spent less in lovely hotels in Europe. The absolute cheek to charge that rate

Great little place to stay
Pros:

Room was lovely and cool even though it was boiling outside. Staff were lovely and friendly, room was simple which was just what we needed with on suite bathroom. Usually you pay a load for bells and whistles you don't need for just one night stay but this was great price for exactly what we needed and beds were very comfy!

Cons:

Wasn't any hand towels in bathroom on arrival but wasn't any bother to ask for them

Budget - don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed
Pros:

The Thanet is a cheap and cheerful hotel, budget very basic which is all good but really needs to step up cleaning, carpets floors etc

I had a good stay, at a fair price and the receptionist was nice and friendly!

Basic but clean. Very close to Russell square and come good restaurants and bars

Baños sucios anti higiénicos,duchas asquerosas sin ascensor y habitaciones estrechas sin ventilación sofocante y puertas ruidosas. No recomendable con un perfil de fotos falsas.

La petite chambre est équipée d'un lit, d'une chaise, d'un petit évier, d'un cintre pendu à la télévision qui ne marchait pas pour 259£ la nuit...
Pas de serviette proposée, pas de climatisation, pas de ventilateur, pas de petit déjeuner pour ce prix, salle d'eau et toilettes communes.
Nous avons dû coller le lit à la fenêtre ouverte sans rideau pour pouvoir supporter les 33°, du coup pas d'intimité avec la rue et les voisins en face.
Hôtel vétuste aux murs décrépis, sales. Une arnaque pour le prix d'un hôtel 4 étoiles.
