Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely art deco hotel. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Lovely bar with great cocktails. Would stay at the Savoy again.

Absolutely Perfect 💯
Pros:

Beautiful art deco hotel.
Very clean and well looked after.
Value for money and breakfast included was excellent. Directly across the road from the train station, supermarket etc and close to really good restaurants.
Could not fault anything.
Definitely stay here again.

Perfection
Pros:

Location for us was perfect as we arrived at Southern Cross Station which was across the road. Felt like I’d stepped back in time to a Hollywood glam situation. Restaurant was fabulous and Gerard at the bar was the star of the show. Music on Thursday night was great and the staff join in. Felt like part of the family

I would happily stay there again
Pros:

Everything was beautiful and the staff were amazing

Cons:

The shower needed a bigger screen as water got EVERYWHERE. Also a little more bench space would be good

Excellent option for train travellers
Pros:

The location was perfect for an early departure from Southern Cross station. It was stylish quiet clean and comfortable. Breakfast starting at 6.30 am was a real bonus, allowing me to eat before catching my train.

Cons:

Like many hotels there was no alternative to the synthetic doona so I slept with a towel in place of a blanket. A cotton blanket would be helpful.

Loved the savoy and would stay again.
Pros:

The staff where extremely friendly we really enjoyed our stay

Cons:

Didn’t like that our bed was 2 single beds pushed together. It was very uncomfortable and also the doona was very stained
