TRH Mijas

everything excellent considering I was there during the heatwave and Spain winning the world cup. staff were always professional.
Breakfast was always good and plenty to choose from, always found something enjoyable to choose for dinner.
There is a charge of 3 euro for the room safe but this includes 1000 euro insurance.

Fabulous hotel .....2nd visit. Rooms themselves are adequate tho do need a little freshen up. (As do most hotels from time to time). Beds are very comfy...staff are great. Very quiet relaxing chilled out feel. We love it.

excellent location, parking and facilities

A lovely hotel with wonderful views and lots of nice open ares.
All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
Maybe we just read the description wrongly but we were expecting a balcony even if it was a small one, however all we had was a large sliding window with no room to get outside.
Our room was at pool level so we needed to keep our blind closed as there were sunbeds directly outside our room.
None of this was a real problem as we spent little time in the room but it may be something to watch out for when booking.
Breakfast was good with the normal buffet choices, evening meals were a bit hit or miss, sometimes with too many nice things to choose, other times a bit limited.
However the buffet area was always kept very clean and tidy.
Buses to everywhere stopped right outside the hotel so getting around was very easy.
As usual the sunbeds were claimed early morning by selfish people who would reserve a bed then go out for the day.
All in all we would definitely return to this hotel and definitely come back to Mijas.

This our 2nd visit this year. Love the hotel due to location and all the super staff. They are always so friendly and helpful. Breakfast - lots of choice. Views are superb. Lots of places to eat locally. Supermarket across the road. Will be coming back. Thankyou TRH for another super holiday again.

Locatie op 3 min van het prachtige Mijas. Busstop voor de deur, restaurantjes op wandelafstand. Flamenco optreden, zalige straatjes… en vooral stil en aangenaam plekje.

We have visited TRH Mijas ten times over the last 7 years. The Staff are really polite, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them.
The hotel is traditionally Spanish having a welcoming reception area with lots of comfortable chairs and sofas fostering a relaxing atmosphere the moment you enter. The rooms we have stayed in have been spacious with large terraces, although we are aware that some have only small Juliet balconies. Rooms and ensuites are cleaned every day. The restaurant, bars, reception, pool area, Spa, stairwells and lifts are all impeccably clean.
We love the location of TRH in the hills above Costa del Sol, on the edge of the beautiful whitewashed Pueblo of Mijas. There is regular public transport to take you to Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos Malaga and Coin. Buses for those destinations pick up outside Hotel TRH.
Mijas Pueblo has lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are often events held in the main Plaza or the Ampitheatre at the top of the Pueblo to entertain locals and holidaymakers.
We would definitely recommend staying at TRH Mijas, we love it!

What a fantastic hotel. The staff are so friendly and the women behind the bar work so hard. They also make the most incredible cocktails.
The rooms were comfortable and clean with very quiet air con. Breakfast was great with a huge variety to choose from.
We really enjoyed the pool area and always managed to find a sun lounger looking out towards the sea.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Location of hotel is very beautiful. Unfortunately I was allocated room 25 avoid! Ground floor with no balcony felt like prison.

Tiene un aire deliciosamente decadente con sus muebles vintage que me recuerdan a mi adolescencia. Todo estaba muy limpio y la zona de la piscina con sus vistas a Málaga es espectacular..

El personal fue excelente y el hotel es muy bonito y cómodo. Tranquilo y con vistas excelentes.
Muy recomendable el masaje de 90 minutos del spa.

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds available, so it was always easy to find a place to relax.

The breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, with plenty of choice to suit everyone. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and polite throughout our stay.

A special mention goes to Francisco, who looked after us at the pool bar. He was exceptionally efficient, friendly, and professional, always providing excellent service with a smile. He is a real asset to the hotel.

I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
