Relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly and the massage at the spa was fantastic!
Nothing to dislike!
Room much too warm
Really enjoyed the whole experience - it isn't 5 star but is was clean friendly and in a super location - the rooms have had a superb makeover with a view to die for - the lift could be quicker lol but relaxing is the name of the game. The food and service were very good and we all really enjoyed our stay - I believe they will now clean the windows in the apartment as it was a bit of a downer - it didn't deter our enjoyment all the same.
Really central for other pubs and restaurants should you wish to visit them. Enjoy it - we did .
Breakfast was good but the outlay was a little confusing
I am disabled and didn't realise I had to leave the hotel building to get to my apartment
Receptionist was so lovely & helpful
We had dinner in the evening .Food & service was exceptional..Room was very comfortable, nicely decorated with sea view which we were pleasantly upgraded to on arrival.
Loved all about our stay here
Location, relaxing, nice dinner, people with dog 🐶
We loved everything. Great value of money.
That it is right in the middle of the town
It’s so expensive
The location was excellent lovely view from the very clean well equipped room . The staff were friendly and helpful we had a very relaxing stay
Very Limited choice of dairy free food or vegan options, no dairy free dessert at all so my daughter who is intolerant to dairy was very disappointed
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The décor throughout the hotel was beautiful and created a welcoming atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we were very impressed with the quality of the meals during our stay.
We also really enjoyed the spa facilities. In particular, the therapist who looked after us was excellent and made our experience especially enjoyable. The salt therapy room was a lovely addition and provided a relaxing experience.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
On a number of occasions, staff appeared unfamiliar with the products and services they were responsible for. For example, when I asked whether any craft beers were available, I was simply told they had Heineken. When we had questions about the food menu, staff seemed unsure of the dishes and had to read through the menu in front of us to answer.
Similarly, at the end of the evening, I asked for a whiskey menu after noticing the impressive whiskey selection behind the bar. The barman searched for a menu but was unable to find one and eventually returned with a cocktail menu, saying it was the closest thing he had.
As a result, I had to ask individually about the available whiskeys and their prices.
We were also disappointed with the accommodation itself. The rooms were located separately from the main hotel and had more of a student accommodation feel than that of a luxury hotel. There was a noticeable smell in the area where dogs were accommodated, which was off-putting. In addition, the soundproofing was poor, and we could hear noise both from outside and from within the building.
The hotel has clearly invested significantly in its décor, which is absolutely beautiful and creates a striking first impression. However, we felt that a greater investment in staff training and guest experience would make a substantial difference and help the service match the quality of the surroundings.
Location and comfy bed.
Late check in and still not ready at check in time of 3pm
Hotel was nice, centrally located, staff very helpful.
The weather was wet and windy, we stayed in a garden apartment which was lovely but I felt when booking I would be in the hotel itself, there was a steep stairs which usually wouldn't bother me but I am being treated for a bulging disc and it didn't help but we managed. There was very little to do, no entertainment in the hotel or in the town, I think we just picked the wrong time of year. We may go back again but at a better time.
Fabulous location. Food, atmosphere very friendly and relaxing.
EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL
The area, felt very homely with the town’s vibrant history and architecture as well as a lovely beach close by.
Liked everything
I visited the Spa twice on this trip, and both times I had the same therapist, Ketrin.
Both treatments were wonderful, but today's was amazing!
Frangipani salt scrub plus full body Swedish massage.
Hands down, the best treatment I've ever had!
Thank you Ketrin, I still feel like I'm floating!
Thank you also to the very kind receptionist.
