Seating for breakfast was limited. The space is small for the amount of people eating, But the rest of the service was great
Everything was very clean and spacious.
Bathroom door wasn't really soundproof
I cannot thank and recommend this hotel enough to ease the process of moving my son into college from across the country. They were so kind in letting me ship items for them to store for me. This was a true blessing in easing the whole college move in process for me. It's also a clean nice hotel, in a cute village and walking distance to the Metro North.
Excellence is what I have experienced consistently over 5+ years of visits to the Springhill Suites Tuckahoe.
Always a home away from home for myself and my family. We have been staying at the Tuckahoe Springhill Suites since 2021 for blocks of days or weeks at a time, each year. I can't imagine what we would have done if the hotel wasn't there.
The hotel is perfect - a great location and very friendly and supportive staff. As I stay at the hotel so often, I have gotten know a few members of the staff and they feel like my family away from home. This charm and hospitality is always greatly appreciated.
Many thanks always to Gary, Cindy, Maria, Hernan, James, Ryan, Shivon, Brittany and everyone one at the Springhill Suites Tuckahoe (I wish I could name everyone! my apologies but you know who you are!) for looking after us so beautifully.
I stay at this Springhill Suites several times per year since it opened as my parents live in the area and I visit them regularly. It’s a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I have been staying there since it opened because in addition to being a new hotel, the staff listen and make adjustments if you see something off. The location is also great because it is a ten minute walk to the Tuckahoe Metro North train station which makes getting into NYC easy. It is also easy to walk to restaurants and shops from the hotel. And it is close to the Bronx River Park. The gym is great for a hotel gym but if you need something more complex, there is a large fitness center next door which lets you workout there for the day for $20. The hotel is also near a Paws & Play pet center for those that need to board. All in all, a great place and so happy it’s near my parents.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK. MONEY, BANK CARDS AND HOUSE KEYS WENT MISSING FROM MY ROOM.
I stayed here in June 2026, travelling from the UK for work. The room was clean and the location was fine.
I left several hundred pounds in cash, my bank cards and my house keys in the bedside drawer and realised after checking out that I had forgotten them. I know I did not empty that drawer, and I have a photograph of everything in it, taken the night before, with date, time and location data. I called the hotel within a few hours. Nothing was found.
I was a long way from home, incredibly stressed and emotional with no money, no cards and no keys to my own house. Nobody at the hotel asked whether I was alright, or how I planned to get home. Every message I received was a paragraph about liability.
The hotel's conclusion was that its electronic access audit showed 'no unusual activity' and that staff denied removing anything, then they closed the case. I have since reported the incident to Tuckahoe police.
So according to the hotel, nothing unusual happened here at all. Draw your own conclusions. I'm not going to accuse anyone of something I can't prove.
Worth knowing before you arrive: there is no safe in the rooms (hence me taking a photo of storing my valuables in the drawer), and nobody mentioned that there was one at reception at check-in or at any point during my stay. Ask, because you won't be offered.
I escalated to Marriott corporate, as the hotel told me to. Nine weeks. Five different representatives. A case number, a written promise of a resolution, and a claims adjuster I was told about again and again who has never once contacted me.
I even offered to settle for a refund of my room. Not the cash. Just the room. I never even got a reply.
I'm writing this because you need to know that if something goes wrong for you here, you will be on your own with it, and you should know that before you book rather than after.

Me gustó mucho la tranquilidad , lo cómoda que es su cama , la ubicación para las familias que andamos con niños está genial.
Me hubiera gustado el cambio de toallas más frecuente , solo eso .
I liked the included breakfast. The dining area could get crowded on the weekend. I would recommend a vegan option and a few gluten free options.
the room was spacious. I liked that there was a fridge. I would recommend decaf coffee and decaf tea in the room.
The cleanliness of the tables in the dining area where breakfast is served. Clean them off between guests sitting.
The rooms were ok, but not spectacular. Things like the door lock in the bathroom coming off the wall (Was a sliding door), the desk area had scratches all on the table and glass knock it down a bit. However, very high marks for the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel. The area is spectacular and was very walkable and safe. Train station to the city was quite walkable and schedules were very good. Although I recommend not driving to the train station as there is very little parking available.
Rooms are clean and spacious
Bad breakfast
Noisy
Location was perfect for us. Train station was nearby for my wife and close to where I was working. Breakfast was good and had a good selection. The room was clean and spacious.
The coffee was terrible. It didn’t even taste like coffee. It would have helped if there would have been some flavored creamer available.
Camera molto spaziosa con un bel bagno.
Noi eravamo al piano terra vicino alla hall quindi la camera era un po' rumorosa... colazione non particolarmente buona...e poco variegata.
