I am Culinary Graduate of Johnson and Wales University. I am currently retired and enjoying the retirement life.

On the weekend of May 24, 2026, I was a guest for 4 nights at Springhill Suites in Tuckahoe NY. I was in town to celebrate my mother's 92nd birthday. Upon my arrival my son and I had by far one of the worst receptions by a staff member by the name of Ezze. (perhaps misspelled). After being denied my reservation by Ezze, I was verbally abused in Spanish. He did not know that I speak Spanish and was shocked when I called him out. Without being too graphic Ezze said f*** you and your family. He also proceeded to verbally threaten me in Spanish. After realizing that I understood him he changed course, fulfilled my reservation and comped 1 night. Admission of guilt! The next day the AGM Jamie Masterson reviewed the video; however, she claimed there was no audio. How convenient. When my son and I left and returned to the property in the evenings we returned through the back door to avoid Ezee. Upon the formal review my son or the other receptionist Danelle were never interviewed. And that is just the tip of the ice burg. There is much more to the story, however my formal complaint to Marriot was essentially dismissed and blame was passed back to me. Yes, it was midnight and I was upset that my 4-night stay ($1000) was being changed to something I did pay for and reserve. I am appalled at the decision of the General manager of the hotel and the customer service managers that I encountered through the process. As a retired Hospitality manager of over 40 years, a simple apology by the Gary Byrne (GM) is unacceptable. My son has video and audio of part of the interaction. It is lengthy but am trying to get it from him to post. This is far from over as I am reaching out to The Marriott brothers and Anthony Capuano (CEO/Pres,)

On the surface, this is a recently rennovated facility. However, Marriott cut corners. My major complaint was the HV/AC system. Three calls to the front desk and three "adjustments" to the unit did not fix the problem. The room thermostat was set to 68 degrees but the room stayed at 75 degrees. One maintenance person who came to look at the unit said the room thermastat DID NOT control the room's HV/AC. Instead he instructed us the use the controls on the unit itself. Unfortunately, neither set of controls seemed to do anything. As well, the unit was noisey and was cycling on/off every few minuets. There was no way to keep the fan constantly on which would have been easier to adapt to than the constant on/off. Bottom line: unable to obtain restful nights sleep.

Because of the above and the facility's inability to solve the problem, I cannot recommend this particular Marriott. (I will attempt to get a full refund from them.)

We spent a total of three nights at this property, split in two stays as we took the train into NYC for a few nights. The hotel was very full, but managed well. Plenty of parking, albeit far at some points. The neighboring villages offer a lot, also

We travelled from Ireland with a group of 97 people and could not have been happier with our stay. The hotel, location and service were absolutely perfect from start to finish.

Tuckahoe was such a beautiful, safe and welcoming area for our group, which included a large number of youths, while still being only a short 10-minute walk to the train station and just over 30 minutes into Grand Central Station. It really could not have been easier to access New York City.

Gary and his team were exceptional both before and during our stay, ensuring everything ran smoothly for such a large group. The shuttle bus service was an added bonus, with staff always happy to bring people to local shops, restaurants and the train station. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

The rooms were excellent and many in our group commented that the beds were the most comfortable they had ever slept in. Breakfast each morning was tasty, fresh and plentiful, and there were lovely bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

Although this was a large group booking with bus parking and great space to relax, many of our group said they would happily return as families or individuals and commute into the city from here again.

The hotel exceeded all expectations and we would like to sincerely thank Gary, Maura, Jessica and all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Excellent hotel. Located in a beautiful part of New York and yet only 30 minutes from Manhattan on the train. Staff were so friendly and couldn't help us enough. Perfect way to see New York without the hustle and bustle but still close enough to enjoy everything

I travelled as part of a large group from Ireland and we stayed for 4 nights.
The reservations team were a pleasure to deal with and the constant personal communication from the manager before and during our stay was exceptional.
The hotel is clean, bright and conveniently located in the very leafy surroundings of Tuckahoe. As Iike to go for a run in the early morning this area felt safe and friendly.
Staff are friendly and accommodating at all times.
The bedrooms were spotlessly clean, really spacious and beds and pillows were very comfortable,
Breakfast was delicious and varied. The Shuttle bus service that is available was fanrastic.
Its just a short stroll to the local train station for very easy access to Manhattan (less than 15 min walk to train station and 30 min train ride to Grand Central for $22 or $1 for kids accompanied by an adult).
Would highly recommend this hotel for family, friends, group travel or business stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Spring Hill suites in Tuckahoe. We had large group booking which was catered for directly with the hotel which mad our stay and booking a lot easier. The hotel was fantastic to look after us including tge use of the shuttle bus . Rooms were very large and very comfortable. The hotel was less then 10 mines walk from train station that brought us to grand central station. Small negative was breakfast choice was small and finished at 9.
