Bij aankomst bleek dat wij niet de kamer kregen die wij hadden gereserveerd. Wij hadden drie kamers geboekt, waarvan één kamer met een terras en zitgelegenheid. Hoewel deze kamercategorie beschikbaar was, werd deze ons niet toegewezen.

Daarnaast was één van onze kamers bij aankomst niet gereed. Na het betreden van de kamer bleek deze sterk naar riool te ruiken. De kamer was onvoldoende schoongemaakt, de prullenbakken waren niet geleegd en in de badkamer waren diverse haren zichtbaar. Toilet vies. Omdat er op dat moment geen schoonmaakpersoneel meer aanwezig was, kon de receptie uitsluitend het bed opnieuw laten opmaken. De overige gebreken zijn tijdens ons verblijf niet verholpen. De aanhoudende rioollucht werd slechts tijdelijk gemaskeerd met een luchtverfrisser, zonder dat de oorzaak werd aangepakt.

Naar aanleiding van onze klachten heeft de hotelmanager, Isis, ons toegezegd dat de kosten van het ontbijt (€240) zouden worden gecompenseerd. Ondanks meerdere e-mails en telefonische pogingen gedurende enkele weken is deze toezegging tot op heden niet nagekomen. Het is bovendien niet gelukt om de manager persoonlijk te spreken. Via de receptiemedewerkers kregen wij telkens te horen dat zij in overleg was of niet beschikbaar, waarna een terugkoppeling uitbleef.

Wij vinden het teleurstellend dat gemaakte afspraken niet worden nagekomen en dat de communicatie hierover onvoldoende is geweest. Van een hotel mag worden verwacht dat klachten zorgvuldig worden afgehandeld en dat gedane toezeggingen worden nagekomen.

Op basis van onze ervaring kunnen wij dit hotel helaas niet aanbevelen.

Cons:

For the price i had better experiences at other hotels, like our towels would be changed automatically. Like if you don’t offer a SmartTV at least offer some hospitality.

We came back to a bed unmade and dirty towels. Had to look for housekeeping to ask for fresh towels.
