Cannot go wrong with this hotel
Pros:

I nice quiet stay in a nice looking hotel. The breakfast was good and it was not that far from the airport or downtown Anchorage.

Housekeeping good if you get it
Pros:

Hotel is newer than most but my room was never cleaned the four days I was there. Even when I came out in the hall to ask for towels they didn’t figure out that my room had not been cleaned.

The location was perfect and worked for our family. This is a very full and popular hotel.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent especially with three children.

Cons:

The pool was full of hair and murky. There were no pool towels. Finally, they did close the pool to clean it, we were thankful they made the right decision.

Pros:

Accessible location, nice gym, nice and kind staff.

Cons:

The pool is cold. So, we stayed mostly to sauna/jakuzzi pool instead of the ordinary pool.
There is no microwave in the room. actually i was expecting it🤭 since i booked 2days for my parents golden anniversary. Sorry to say but they didn’t meet my expectations. 😔

A memorable visit to Anchorage at Hyatt Place
Pros:

The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room and amenities were better than expected and provided the exact ambiance I required. The location of the hotel was quite convenient for my needs.

Our new go-to place to stay when in Anchorage
Pros:

We had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Place Anchorage Downtown. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. At check‑in, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite, which was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The included breakfast added even more convenience to our visit. Honestly, we wished we had booked more than just one night. Since we travel to Anchorage often, this will definitely be one of our go‑to places to stay.

Anchorage Stay March 31, 2026
Pros:

Great location as it is near the airport and downtown and mid-town areas and the 24/7 airport shuttle is fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. Hotel and room itself are well maintained and very clean. Beds are comfortable. We have stayed here previously and the hotel continues to meet our needs and we enjoy our stay. We will continue to use this hotel when in the area.
