The hotel was clean. When I got off the elevator on the 4th floor the carpet looked like it was 40 years old - really gross. The room was clean and had acceptable carpet
The mattress and pillows were superior. Very clean room.
Breakfast was poor by any scale. Poor choices. Not properlym maintained. Although the lady servicing the area was doing all she could with what was being offered. We stopped at McDonald's after we left. Which sucks, since the price of "breakfast" was included in what we paid.
The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean andn quiet. They are a pet friendly hotel with easy access to pet walking area. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and efficient. The staff seemed happy which says to me Wyndham is a good company.
The TV wasn't easy to navigate. I'm guessing the battery needed refreshed in the remote.
I come here very often, and I liked the breakfast before the Renovation. The Renovation was really nice and you scalp up the Renovation, but then the breakfast is not as good as it was before the renovation. I liked and preferred to look forward to the hot breakfast of hot fresh eggs and sausage. While the dining room was upgraded very well, actual breakfast and food took a down grade. it’s not terrible, but it’s not as good as it was. I’m glad to have something rather than nothing.
After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised. The renovations are complete and everything looks updated and clean. The staff were really nice. The breakfast was basic but enough to fill us up each morning. Close but out of the way. Near plenty of restaurants. Short drive into downtown and the stadium as we were here for the draft and a concert at Petersen event center. I’m a Wyndham owner so I believe I have high standards. I would definitely stay again for a city trip.

Side-note: my only suggestion would be to put bedskirts on the beds…it would just look more finished.
Most importantly my room was very clean. They only complaint is that it would have been nice to have more fresh fruits at breakfast. There were oranges. But apples and bananas would have been nice. Easier to grab and go.

Dirty bathroom. Strong smoke smell in non smoking room. Pillows were very small and lumpy.
