Happy with the Holiday Inn Filton
Pros:

The hotel it's self it great, good staff, the food was good, and it's nice there is a Starbucks for coffee in the morning.

Cons:

The rooms were a little noisy at times when other guests walk by. They can be heard clearly.

Price was good. You get what you pay for.
Pros:

The location was good. Hotel was clean and the room had everything you'd need - plenty of space for a weekend away and exactly what you'd expect. We didn't use the pool, bar or restaurant but they all looked welcoming and well presented.

Cons:

The bed was incredibly firm, it was like sleeping on concrete and you only get one small, flat pillow so there's no way to make it more comfortable. My partner and I had the worst two nights' sleep because of it! woke up every half an hour with body aches and pains from my hips and back. If it was not for the fact we had a long day, I would have drove home a night early just to not sleep in that bed again. We were up early and checked out early just to get home and rest.

Met expectations but very little to distinguish over above other options in the vicinity (premier inn, travel lodge etc)
Pros:

Easy to find from motorway

Cons:

Inflexible around breakfast and checkout arrangements. Poor experience requesting an invoice for the stay

Comfortable, fresh and good food and staff.
Pros:

Lovely hotel and really well located. We had a couple of small issues which were easily resolved. The Manager took the the time to discuss them, listen and ask how to improve moving forward. She was fantastic and that she really wants the hotel to be the best it can be. I look forward to returning in the future.
