Moldy and bad customer service
Pros:

My friend and I stayed at this hotel after attending a concert the night before. Unfortunately, we overslept and woke up about 15 minutes after checkout to loud banging on our door.

We immediately apologized, explained that we had accidentally overslept after getting in late from the concert, and politely asked for just 30 minutes to gather our belongings. Instead of showing any understanding, management yelled at us through the door, demanding that we leave immediately. The way we were spoken to was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

To make matters worse, the hotel itself had a moldy smell, making the overall stay even more unpleasant.

I understand that hotels have checkout policies, and I take responsibility for oversleeping. However, there is a respectful way to handle situations like this, and this wasn’t it. Guests deserve to be treated with professionalism and basic courtesy. Based on both the condition of the hotel and the way we were treated, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

I was charged $35 to check in 45 minutes early. The room was already available. Thumbs down.

An OK Place for Solo Traveler
Pros:

This hotel is more affordable compared to others nearby. However, if you don't have a car, you'll find it quite inconveniently located, requiring you to use Uber for all your transportation. The room itself is a good size and has air conditioning.

Cons:

The hotel air was not fresh, with a strong chemical odor throughout. The staff could have been friendlier and shouldn't have been on their phones during check-in. The service and hospitality could be enhanced with more staff training and regular inspections. The lobby is too small for breakfast. A better breakfast would be a good addition.

This could be a great place if they had honest and helpful staff.

Cons:

The staff at the front desk wasn’t helpful. We left a rain coat in the closet. We called 15 minutes after we left the property (couldn’t come back asap because there was an accident at the highway) and said we could pick the raincoat in within 2 days. We kindly asked them to go check in the room and they said they couldn’t send anyone to check at that time, he would have to wait for the housekeeper report. We called again that evening and they said that the housekeeper hadn’t made it to the room. We called again next morning and they said they hadn’t heard anything from cleaning staff.
The front desk person refused to check at the moment we reported the missing item, he was just relying on the housekeeper report.
