Ok maar volgende keer zoek ik een hotel waar de beleving in verhouding staat met de prijs.
Pros:

De locatie is heerlijk. De kamer was zeker in orde. Mooie inrichting.

Cons:

We vinden voor de prijs die er gevraagd wordt voor de kamer, de beleving ondermaats. Veel jonge mensen (stagiairs) die met veel te veel te staan waardoor er veel ruimte is om te staan babbelen ipv met de klanten bezig te zijn. We mistten een verantwoordelijke met uitstraling die zorgt dat de prijs klopt met de beleving. We wilden 's avonds nog iets drinken aan de bar maar de bar ging sluiten. We kregen uiteindelijk nog wel iets om te drinken maar de manier waarop was niet 'The Hoxton-waardig'.

The Hox left me with a special feeling and I will definitely return one day!
Pros:

I loved the vibe and excellent service by all staff, with a special shoutout to Elise for being so friendly and attentive. All the staff made the six day stay a wonderful experience, thank you!

Cons:

The aircon in my room was not working properly. I did report it a few times but it was not repaired, especially during the very hot recent weather.

Cons:

Jokio kontakto resepcijoje, viskas internetu, nepasitinka kviečiančiai. Kambarys: labai nuvylė jo dydis, AC veikė be galo prastai, manau ji ganėtinai senos kartos, kelis kartus Prašiau pagalbos dėl Vėsinimo kambaryje. Kambario Nesutvarkė ir manęs visiškai niekas neinformavo, kad turiu apie tai Pranešti pati, nes buvau apsistojusi dvi naktis. Už tokią kainą tikrai nepateisina Lūkesčių.

Déception et médiocrité se voulant eco et moderne !!!

Ménage non fait il fallait le demander je croyais que c’était un HOTEL !!
Petit déjeuner inclus et donc payant c’était minable et médiocre, servi à table pas de buffet, personne pour dire ce qu’il y avait sur la carte et qu’il existait un quota à l’instar de Pestana Madrid plaza Mayor ou en plus du buffet on pouvait commander sur la carte sans restriction mais il fallait avoir de l’appétit, étant civilisé ce n’est la peine de commander et ne pas manger !!

Unique stay in the heart of Amsterdam
Pros:

Hotel was in an amazing location, close to all of the major sites but in such a cool neighbourhood close to great cafe’s, restaurants and bars. The staff were so lovely and helpful to make the stay extra special. The hotel itself was really cool and had such a great vibe, I felt safe as a solo female traveller.

So noisy, mattresses need replacing and furniture is worn. Value for money very low compared to other hotels in area.

Centrally Located in Amsterdam
Pros:

The staff were very kind and helpful from the moment we booked through checking out. Anna in the restaurant was lovely, she greeted us warmly every morning and was very professional. The location was fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable. The food was very good. We loved the feel of the hotel and it was very clean.

No other option, but the Hoxton!
Pros:

Incredible service & hospitality, and centrally located. You cannot do much better if planning a trip to Amsterdam! The room was spacious and the breakfast was incredible. Also, if you're into fitness, the gym access they provide is incredible and only one block over.

Hipster vibe undone by service experience
Pros:

Nice room, good view - all undone by crap service. I paid for breakfast on the first morning by card, not on the bill, and their system didn't register it even though it had gone through my bank account. Then they hassled us for 24 hours for the payment. This included asking my wife three times where her husband was without explaining why. They were pretty rude about it. She was confused as you might imagine. Finally they asked me to prove I had paid...I showed my bank app with the transaction....they insisted on a screenshot of it, presumably for their records. It was a pretty offensive experience. Oh and the food we had when we arrived (dinner) was very poor for a hotel of this level. Avoid the soggy beetroot burger - bun and burger all merged in texture and tasted of very little.
