I literally liked nothing on the property. The staff was completely mean they didn’t even wanna give me toilet paper never gave me toilet paper never gave me new towel. Never did anything a hotel should possibly do.
Someone died a couple rooms down for me. There was a lot of noise, arguing domestic violence, a lot of police activity.
Staff as pleasant
The whole 3rd floor smelled like cat urine and the elevator didn't stop on the 3rd floor
only liked the distance between traveling
cleanliness
Location. Close to everything
The whole 3rd floor smelled like cat urine. The smell was really strong. Also elevator dos not stop on the 3rd floor. You had to get off on the 2nd or 4th floor then take the stairs to the 3rd floor
It’s at a good mid-point between eastern CT and NYC.
When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk barely said two words to me. We got up to the room, and it was two full beds, not the king bed I booked. The phone in the room didn’t work, so I called the front desk from my cell phone and asked for the room I booked, only to be told that I booked an accessible king room and there were none available, and if I wanted a non-accessible king room, I’d have to pay more. So instead of getting what I paid for, I was downgraded, with no reparations offered, and the front desk staff didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know about it upon check-in. In my experience, if my reservation cannot be accommodated, I have always been upgraded at no cost, not downgraded and told I’d be charged more for an equivalent room to what I reserved.
In addition, the hallway outside room 405 smelled terrible, and the bathroom door was disgusting, with who knows what smeared and crusted on it. The tv barely worked, and I was unable to access anything on my computer because the wifi was terrible and no websites would load. When trying to watch the WNBA game, the tv kept losing service. The beds were comfortable enough I guess, but overall this experience was extremely disappointing and as a paying customer, frankly unacceptable.
The location was near shopping centers and places to get food.
The front desk staff was rude. Upon arrival he was on his phone and we had to wait for him to acknowledge us. Then the initial room I was provided, when I opened the door there was food on the table, television was on, key card on the floor and it sounded like someone was already in there so I immediately turned back and went to the front desk to inform them. The staff then told me to hold on while he continued doing whatever he was doing on his phone. Then after I explained what was going on the staff asked me was I sure and did I go all the way inside to confirm that someone was actually in there smh. He then stated that its possible the cleaning staff didnt get to clean the room but he didnt know cause he had only been to work an hour before we arrived. He did provide me with another room. The 2nd room the water was turned off for the toilet so we had to turn the water on to get the toilet to flush, and then once you flush the toilet you would have to wait almost 30 mins before anyone else could use the toilet again. Nobody ever came to clean the room was there for 3 nights and I had to stop a cleaning lady that I saw in passing to ask for additional towels.
Esta vez me dieron habitación en el 3er nivel y no pude dormir porque se escuchaban ratones en el techo y el aire acondicionado dejó una posa de agua en el piso.
I was not offered the requested accommodations subscribed to online. But I finally convinced the manager to comply with the original request without raising my voice.
The only bad experience was not having the towels replaced by the staff after I personally requested it the next morning.
I rate them a B-
The room was not cleaned the next morning nor were the towels replaced. I had to ask for fresh towels at the front desk.
The front desk staff could use a bit more customer courtesy training. They can seem gruff and intimidating to some gentler souls!!
Nice clean motel
The location was good - right off the thruway exit and only 10 minutes drive to the music venue we were going to.
Regardless of being a smoke free facility, the place smelled of stale smoke and garbage. The floor in our room was sticky; the mirror in the bathroom was all beat up; there was no coffee pot; the windows were cloudy and dirty; the shower curtain was stained with blood and was old and faded and there were groups of people out front of the motel smoking and drinking no matter the time we entered or exited.
