Location and ambience

Cons:

Lobby bar off limits due to private function during day. Spa opening hours quite limited and as a result could t find a slot to book spa treatment so recommend you book in advance.

Pros:

The staff where helpful and friendly, loved the pool and spa, we had an accessible room which met all our needs.
Hotel location is fantastic.
Breakfast offered a great selection.
I had the misfortune of leaving some keys in the safe. The Devin sorted out the safe return for me.
Just a great hotel.

Lokalita perfektní, pokoj splňoval očekávání.

Cons:

Slabší snídaně. Nebylo dostatek ovoce, druhý den dokonce kromě jablek vůbec. Obsluha nestíhala zakládat nové stoly a čekali jsme na příbory. Káva z automatu opravdu neoslnila. Jinak OK.

A nice, spacious and good value hotel with a lovely pool and spa that is mostly closed

Cons:

We booked it because it has a pool, steam room and spa.

It does, but for some unfathomable reason it doesn’t open until 2pm. Ludicrous.

And you can’t even book a massage out of hours, so you have to wait till 2pm to see what the availability is.

Borderline pointless.

Classic Hotel, Great Amenities, Terrific Location, Superior Staff
Pros:

After a stressful day the Hotel Devin allowed me to have a sense of peace and relaxation. The staff were incredible, especially Zofia, who came through with all my needs. For example, I did not have any swimming trucks, but thankfully she told me were to purchase some (for an excellent price btw) in the building. For that and providing good answers to all my question I could not thank her enough!! Although Zofia personally dealt with my questions, the entire staff clearly does an excellent job.

The room was very spacious with a desk, comfortable bed and plenty of outlets to charge one's devices. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold choices. The food was truly delicious. The location is really close to the Danube and not far from the historical sights of Bratislava. The fact that a cat café is just next door is an additional bonus. The pool area provided great relaxation and it included spa features. The property has a classic hotel look with modern amenities. Thus, staying at the Hotel Devin contains the best of both worlds.

In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bratislava.

Cons:

Nothing negative to say. All my needs were met. The staff was tremendous.
