Friendly staff.
Everything worked perfectly. Meals were fine without having. Shower pressure really high, in terms of water conservation it could be reduced.
The location is excellent and made it easy to explore Wellington on foot. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy.
The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the restaurant was disappointing. The food was average at best and seriously overpriced. We also overheard the manager repeatedly speaking negatively to the wait staff, who were all lovely, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. On our second night our room was one towel short, which we only discovered after getting into the shower, so we had to make do. Overall, the stay was fine, but it didn't feel like great value for the price.
