The lifts were amazing! Able to get to ASB Arena very easily. Parking was good. Lots of options however we did stay on a Monday night
Lots of towels! Love the seperate toilet in a hotel room! The bath is comfortable and nice!
Air-conditioning was very good in the room. Never felt too hot or too cold during our stay!
Buffet breakfast was really nice! Lots of options! Pancakes made to order were great and chef was lovely
Difficult signage on how to get to the different levels of the car park from the lobby. Unable to use the vehicle ramps of course but I wasn't able to find a staircase advising how to get to our car parked on level H (main parking level)
Couches and even dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Like they are designed to not let people comfortably lay down or sit back on the chairs. I am 30 weeks pregnant so sitting on an extremely hard couch and not being able to lay back on a chair while eating dinner wasn't the best
The door easily opens and closes. The "lock" isnt very child friendly. Easily able to be opened by a young child. We slept with a few chairs in front of the door to make sure our 2 year old daughter didnt try and open it during the night
Light switches are child height. My 2 year old was easily able to turn the lights on and off as much as she could. There are two phones in the room aswell. Unsure why?
It was very central to everything. We literally parked the car on arrival and didn't move it until we left. Everything in walking distance.
Our room was average. Shower curtain in the bathroom blows with the fan and touches you. When put on outside of the tub, flooded the floor.
Our room wasn't cleaned properly. There was rubbish under the bed, bobby pins on the floor and other things that would have been easily vacuumed if done properly.

Spacious room with great view. We were on the 26th floor, which had its own lounge area with complimentary drinks and snacks and a beautiful view. Very nice shower and bathroom. Very comfortable bed!

It was what we wanted close to where we wanted to go and it was a relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel was extremely clean. The room service meal was lovely. The buffet was very good too.
Location, cleanliness, parking and bed confortable.
Car park stairwell dirty. Reception disappeared as we pulled up and we stood and waited and then told to move car forward which had become possible but initially someone was in the way, just a little abrupt with instructions. Not offensive but felt disappointed at the way the women told us. We stay in Wgtn a lot and so have options and were impressed overal.

The front desk team seem really happy and accommodating, like they enjoy their jobs. It's very welcoming. You can't beat James Cook for the location. So easy to get to from the motorway, and then you can walk right out the back to Lambton Quay. Rooms were clean and new. They stored our kayak for us and parking is cheap and in the same building.
The parking gates were really confusing. I'm not sure why we needed to use the same ticket to get OUT of the parking garage, but that made for a mad scramble to reception whilst sitting at the parking gate with cars backed up behind us. A bit stressful, but that's my only complaint from a 3-night stay.
