Location was fantastic. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Bed was comfortable.
Hair in the bathroom that was not ours, in shower, sink and floor. Ear ring on the floor by the bed that was also not ours.
Gross!
The rooms were old and dirty. First room I had smelled like urine and had a city view, even though I paid for a Mountain View. After talking to the front desk, they were agreeable to change my room to a Mountain View. The second room smelled like feces and the sheets were clearly dirty with pubic hair all over the fitted sheet. I cancelled my entire stay and found another hotel in the area.
The room was clean and comfortable, and had a great mountain view. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves really good food and drinks, which was nice not having to go out, since we were on a very tight schedule. I have always loved downtown Colorado Springs, it's so pretty. The hotel was conveniently located to our event near Colorado College. If you go, just get the valet parking, it's only $5 more than the charge for parking yourself.
I will give excellent to hotel staff, they are very helpful and courteous. Hotel is beautiful and good location. But hotel will need updates for the rooms.
The Staff was very helpful and pleasant, food was good, lobby was nicely decorated and very well air conditioned, valet parking worked well and was a reasonable price. TV sound did not work but after I notified the front desk thye sent up an engineer and after she reset everything it worked fine.
Room 1204 - The air conditioning is a joke. When we got to the room the thermostat was set to 64 so room should be very cold right?? It was probably about 75 and the sunshade was pulled down. Turning the thermostat down did not make any difference in cooling. The front desk sent up an engineer and she looked at everything and said the cooling was working as good as it could because the east facing large window helped to make the room hotter. She also said the fan was only wired on one speed-high so it was not adjustable and neither was the fan vibration. She said this was a common complaint with the rooms. The bathroom was cozy and the shower was very stained and chipped. There is peeling paint on the doors and the sink did drain eventually. There are alot of cosmetic issues that need to be addressed. The Antlers was built in 1967 and is in need of a very serious refurbishment.
we were next door to Pikes Peak Center so we walked there for the show.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The elevators were fast. The window seat in our room was great.
that we had to pay $25.00 for parking, no microwave in our room, the outside pool was closed. The $16.00 buffet breakfast was not much more than a La Quinta stay. There was no warm syrup for the pancakes, I went into the waiters station and filled it, & it wasn't even warm. No coffee, or hot water in the pots. The juice was watered down, only a couple of yogurts & you had to scrape the bottom of the bowls for fresh fruit that sat in melted ice. Had to wait for plates to serve ourselves..... $50.00 for 3 people! NOT WORTH IT! THE DRURY does a 6 star breakfast compared to this hotel.
L’emplacement, la chambre avec vue sur la montagne
Rien c’était très bien
Great location. Staff was very friendly. Food was very good. Enjoyed the retro atmosphere and architecture.
The location is probably the best part of this hotel. It's a block away from Tejon and we were able to valet our car and walk to everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the valet was on point and accommodating. The city view we had was nice too.
The rooms are older. The tvs are old. The walls had visible chips in them and dents. I don't feel like the rooms support the price we paid. If the valet had been free and maybe a free breakfast but honestly it was overpriced. I think they are able to charge higher rates because of the location.
The atmosphere and decor are like no other hotel for this price. The history behind the hotel is pretty interesting, and we were able to park underneath the building ($19/day for parking - $24/day for valet) and have the elevator take us straight to our room, so that was nice. Breakfast is not included in this package (unless specifically stated), but the buffet is $18/person and the hotel offers other options for breakfast (prices on these are based on the restaurant menu). There are a lot of things nearby, making our stay convenient! There’s a local pizza place called Bambino’s Urban Pizza and it’s amazing! Get the cheese sticks (GIANT CHEESE STICKS - they could feed 4+ people).
