The hotel was grand and the rooms clean, great location and value for money
The room I was given 0575 had a fan high up in the skylight that ran continuously all day/night and there was no way to turn it off as too high and the pull cord was cut. Therefore, despite the hotel being lovely, clean and great location I had a terrible night as could not sleep at because of the fan noise. Very disappointed with my stay sadly

Spacious room, good shower, friendly staff. Fantastic location
Bathroom was rather dated but I wouldn't say it was a negative per se
- The location - City centre and very Accesible.
- We booked a room with no window and got one with windows
- The mattress was over 20 years old (according to the label) and very very uncomfortable.
Amazing location, staff were friendly, good value for money and bed was comfortable. Room was very hot so appreciated the fan and heater available.
Bed had a bluish stain on it but wasn't too bothered since they were clearly washed. The main issue was the shower didn't work at all so we had to have a bath in the morning instead. Was an inconvenience but that being said the bath filled up exceptionally quick with great water pressure.
Large double bed, room was a comfortable size
Shower wasn't great in terms of intensity and it being handheld, flush in toilet was dodgy, alarm on ceiling flashes brightly throughout the night. But worst of all, I could clearly hear the conversations of neighbours on both sides and above most of the night.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, particularly the lady behind the counter.

Liked the location, cleanliness, helpful staff, free WiFi. But I would like to add two more things, the bin was not collected once in my 3 days stay. I changed my bin liner. It should be collected by the cleaner every morning for hygiene. The table lamp was on only on 1 st day then it it was off.

Friendly Staff
Nothing perfect for what we needed but its a little dated
Hotel has been refurbished since my last visit. Check-in has been revamped so my previous visits had a 20.minute plus check in time whereas this time it was less than 10 mins with many more staff on check in. Rooms have been refurbished so much nicer than before.
Despite the room refurbishment the electrical power sockets are not near the bed so you have to get out of bed to charge all electrical devices.
Also I arrived back at the hotel at 22:40 on a Thursday after a United game and all bars were shut. I would have expected them to be open for residents at that time.
