Accent Inns Kelowna

We were really disappointed with our recent stay at Accent Inns Kelowna.

We booked a family suite at over $400 per night, so while we weren’t expecting a luxury hotel experience, we certainly expected the room, especially the bathroom, to be properly cleaned before our arrival.

Unfortunately, when we checked in, one of the first things we noticed was the condition of the bathtub. It was visibly dirty, with grime/residue left behind. I’ve included photos because I think they speak for themselves. We immediately asked to change rooms because I simply wasn’t comfortable using a bathroom that appeared not to have been properly cleaned between guests.

To be fair, there were positives during our stay. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. When we brought the condition of the room to their attention, the staff moved us to another room, which we appreciated.

However, at more than $400 per night for a family suite, cleanliness should be a basic expectation. This wasn’t a minor cosmetic issue or an outdated fixture, it was a matter of the bathtub simply not appearing to have been adequately cleaned before new guests checked in.

Finding our room in that condition immediately affected our impression of the property and our stay overall. While I appreciated the friendly staff, their response to our concern, and the comfortable beds, I would not choose to stay at Accent Inns Kelowna again based on this experience.

For $400+ per night, guests should not have to inspect the bathroom upon arrival or request another room in order to feel comfortable using it.

The room is very nice, big tv, clean and new. The pool is amazing, it’s warm! I love the pool.

Ottima struttura, nuova, staff super accogliente. Bonus la colazione ad un ristorante affianco che fa le colazioni tipiche americane, davvero ottimo. Offrono anche il servizio bici gratuito che è super utile a kelowna.

I can't say enough about the excellent service we received during our recent stay at Accent Inns Kelowna for the BC Summer Games. We experienced an issue with an unreliable flushing toilet in our room, and within 10 minutes of calling the front desk, a wonderful maintenance team member arrived to assess the situation. She explained the issue, made a plan to fix it first thing the next morning, and followed through exactly as promised.

The hotel went above and beyond by compensating us with a complimentary night's stay. As an added bonus, we even received an extra duck!

The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything Kelowna has to offer, and the customer service was exceptional from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future.

This place is terrible. We were there from July 17th to 19th 2026, the rooms were overpriced (over $300 per room), the bathtubs were clogged (2 out of 3 rooms), we informed the front desk, they did nothing. Later that night when we found out the clogged bathtubs weren't fixed, we went to speak to the front desk again, and we were told that they recorded clogged sink but not the bathtubs, and it was too late to fix. We did receive a 15% off for both of the rooms.
The worst part comes after we returned home, both myself and my daughter got bedbug bites. I had more than 7 bites all over me, on my legs, arms, back, neck, and abs. We went to see the doctor and confirmed those were bedbug bites. I phoned the Accent Inn, someone named Diana (manager) took the case, did a full investigation, then told me they didn't find anything. Then they offered me a free complementary night of stay, no thanks.

Will never stay at Accent Inn again, and I strongly advise you avoid it as well.
